Not been on since this morning and see there's 20 pages to catch up on
Will read until midnight then to bed for me, just hope I haven't missed out on a nice glitch or I'll be :mad:SPC #329 £471/£500 banked

Evening elite,
Just home from the 'W' word and find you lot have chatted away about another 4 million pages.
Hugs and love to all that need them.:)
Minnie,
It's a little gadget that allows you to play your Ipod, or mp3 player through your car radio. I have one; handy little thing it is too.
Actually, it's Thursday tomorrow. that quilt is causing you too much stress.
Okay, off to read back a bit and bash that thanks button that I keep forgetting is there (sorry, guys).

Oh thank god for that ... weekends for me are sooooo hard work ...0 -
I've haven't read back and I'm absolutely exhausted so not able to either so this is just a quick one from little ole me.
It was my 4th attempt to collect my cheap quilts order from T direct this afternoon and one of the friendly SAs at CS at my local who is getting to know me now simply said "You just don't to be here today ... it'll take you hours to go around ... the tills have gone mad" ...
Me (feigning ignorance) "Why? What's happening? I've only got 20 mins"
SA ... "None of the offers are going through!"
Me ... "Oh no what a nightmare!!"
Problem is by the time I got out this afternoon I only did have 20 mins and so couldn't exploit the chaosplus I want to stay under the radar here.
I did however return a pair of £19.50 boots that I bought last week (that didn't fit) which at the time helped me get a £5 off £40 MOC :T and use a £2.48 JTD from a Gold Blend purchase to bring my small £7 odd shop down to £5 odd.
It's Friday tmrw and so I must do much better cos I only have 1 £5 off £40 MOC for next week.
Oh BTW I got a call from Tesco Customer Services team tonight re: my email to HO to "praise good CS but complain about a Tesco own brand product". All I got was "thanks we'll pass on your comments to the appropriate people". Not impressed

I went down to visit Mam at 11 am and the carers where just changing her and her bedding and washing her. When they came out, they said Mam had again passed loads of blood
She was very tired and, after smiling at me when I got into her room, she went to sleep. She woke up once, turning to see me, and said 'Oh, I didn't know you were there', smilled and dropped straight off to sleep again. She woke for her lunch, but struggled to eat it, and then slowly ate her pudding. I made her a cup of tea, but after eating 1 dunked biscuit, she fell asleep again. I woke her for her meds and she then fell asleep again with the nebuliser on
I just let her sleep, and she didn't wake until my brother arrived at 2 pm, when she was a little brighter, chatting a little. I left him to watch her and popped to Mr T for some normal shopping, picking up my sister to go back down there at 4 pm. Brother said Mam had been quiet and sleepy while he was there
The carers changed her about 4.30 pm and there was blood there again, not as much as in the morning, but plentyMam couldn't eat her dinner and only just managed her yoghurt, and then was saying she felt sick. She had been talking to us and giggling, but started to get confused and seeing a man standing in the doorway of her room and shouting at him to tell her who he was and what he was doing there. She yelled for her Dad too, and my brother. We talked it over with the nurse and two carers, who are worried about her, especially the lovely carer B who was upset at mam being off her food, knowing that this was serious. They are going to keep an eye on her and give her something to stop her feeling sick if she mentions it again. She kept insisting that she had to go out, to the clinic and eventually stopped saying this when we persuaded her that her appointment was for another day
She also repeatedly told us and the carers that she was going to jump out of the window
She was more or less settled when we left after 7 pm, so we hope that she would sleep again
It has been a tiring day and I ache after sitting at her bedside, leaning over to hold her hand, feed her, etc
I didn't fully catch-up last night as I started watching a film on tv rather than go back on the laptop, so I am off to do that now, as well as catch-up on today's postsMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Hello Livvy W,
welcome, can i ask how your cs staff are with you ?
i'd buy 1 set of 3 to see if it works before going the whole euro
have had similar with £ per kilo v sel price
if it's somethng you buy normally then its got to be worth a go.
do you get vouchers ?
Hi Frequent,
Cs are fine in this store, always been very pleasant, but i havn't exploited the system yet! Just a few normal queries so far.
There is no mention of buying 3 though.
The SEL looks like buy 9 for €3,
1.2l x 9 = 10.80litres for €3 = 28c L
I feel i could argue my case with nine, not sure what i'd say with 3.
I kind of need to know what my argument would be. IYKWIM
Did you query a price over the per kg sel price?
I've never had a voucher, but that doesn't mean we don't have them. I did get a DTD the day after i read about it on here.
Thanks for your help.
We do have a bargain thread on a forum here. But, compared to you guys, it's a bit like Shakin Stevens was to Elvis!0 -
Hello there,
I've outed myself as a lurker on another thread, and i come here tonight to pay homage to you all. I take my hat off to all of you, and i enjoy following the chat as well as the complicated calculations/strategies you guys employ to get the great deals.
I should point out that i am an international lurker. I can't avail of the deals you spot and you could'nt avail of any i would find. So i lurk, green with envy, and try to learn from your strategies. We don't have AdsA so no JTD's or APG's here:(
Could you help me with something, Tesco here also have cleaning offer, large Fairy liquid 1.2L on offer from €5 to €3 makes it €2.50 per litre.
One of the flavours has a yellow SEL saying €3 for 9 x 1.2L and 28c per L. What would you do? Buy 9 and see what happens? If it didn't go through at €3 for the 9 bottles would you go for DTD based on the Litre price SEL?
I found the same SEL in 2 different stores. Hope you don't mind me asking, especially on such a busy day!:)
If your stores do dtd then this is what I would do....
Buy 9 at store 1, if you get charged 3 euros then you've got a bargain, buy more.
If you get charged more than 3 euros go to customer services and ask for dtd, if you get dtd go to store 2 and buy 270 -
Hi could someone please tell me if cs can tell if I had dtd by scanning my reciept TIA0
