Hi could someone please tell me if cs can tell if I had dtd by scanning my reciept TIA

    yeah I'm up for it! :) - can't sleep.

edit: thought you wanted me to check your receipt lol.

Err they normally write something on them. For me they circle the dtd items.
  • Has the cartridge seated correctly? has the printer recognised the new cartridge and done the necessary set up?

Cartridge seems to be in correctly but not sure if printer's recognised it's there. When opened it up again there was a long loose bit of thin plastic/film (like OHP plastic sheets) attached to the right side of the ink shuttle thingie, not sure if it's always been this way or not cause it's the first cartridge change it's needed

Hi thanks, there's no scribble but was wondering when they scan to refund will they know I have had dtd
  • Took a while to catch up today!
Did manage to find an avent nappy disposal thing with an ood SEL 25 quid down to 12.50 but couldn't be bothered with it.

Scanned at lower price today :( deal must have continued. Think it may have been spotted by other MSE'ers, no scanners in my local so asked to be scanned @ Chemist, guy working there instant replied 'That's on offer £12.50'. Double checked at SS though and confirmed :(

You have removed the cellophane from the microchip (if there is one) and the bit where the ink comes out of on the cartridge?

Some you don't remove it but there should be a tab that you pull.

Take out that bit of film and see what happens.

Oh that's a golden receipt! If I remember correctly, where they haven't written anything on it.
Which means that you could reclaim
    D;)
    T;)
    D;)

I went to get the rest of my DTD and they knew who served me:eek: I guess either from the time on the receipt or the refund slip. Was a shock but got it no problem after speaking to the member of staff again from this morning.

If your stores do dtd then this is what I would do....

Buy 9 at store 1, if you get charged 3 euros then you've got a bargain, buy more.
If you get charged more than 3 euros go to customer services and ask for dtd, if you get dtd go to store 2 and buy 27 :D

    Ok, that sounds good. :j

If i buy 9 and get charged €27 then i have nearly 11 litres of Fairy liquid. Mmmm wonder how long that will last me? Does Fairy go lumpy in the shed?

Think i'll try it at a store i don;t go to regularly and loose my purse at the till.

Thanks i really appreciate your input.

No, i can't do that, i'll try for the DTD and if i can't get it, i'll just be washing dishes in lumpy fairy for the next couple of years.

Might not be able DTD again if the SEL has been removed but she could return the item for a full refund. But who would do that?;)
