hi no i'm not local i had an appt and i don't get in very often

i didn't have time to go into the new store today but yes i have been and no never found anything -except got the laser gun dtd there once

previosuly avoided *bb*yd*le rd as traffic is awful and scanners stopped working but it was working today

might pm you next time i'm in, usually take my kids with me to hide the screen at the ss till, would be helpful to have a "friend" for support!

I think I read a while ago that your not from this area but within S.yorks?.
I work near *bb*yd*le rd, (the scanner did work for a while but stopped, glad to hear its working again) and almost drive past the other one on my way home, the new one is not that far away. Scanners in this store are not working. Have got OH to go and check. ;) There are 3 that i have found so far. Managed to get some jewel air freshners(a couple of weeks ago)/iron cleaning things/trays for 1p.
Have been to the extra in D*nc*st*r and B*rn5ley but only go if OH is working in area.
I'm Quite happy to look in local stores if you need anything particular etc... PM me by all means, I do read/lurk/sometimes post here most days.

  • This morning in my little Asda they had the Flora Proactive skimmed milk 1litre cartons RTC/discontinued at 63p. There's a 50p off coupon knocking about, so 13p for 1l :j:j:j

I know it's probably incredibly store specific and it's a pdf coupon so not sure if still available AND it's skimmed milk which I bet most of you don't drink, but I thought I'd mention it in case it helps someone.

Who ever keeps doing the whoopsie prices on the other milk there also keeps using the sell by rather than the use by date  long may that continue!

Nikki, did you literally tap her on the shoulder or just figuratively?!

Well I did tap her on the shoulder:o:o:obecause I was looking over her shoulder to try and see what the prices were coming up at and I said excuse me twice but she didnt answer because she was too busy scanning so I tapped her on the shoulder, It was gently I promise:o:o:o

you could always text a friend and get them to ring you at the exact time your shopping gets scanned and a manned till :)

I would never do such a thing  I phone them instead. Not really fair asking them to pay to phone you to get a DTD :D

Quietish day. I was accepted to do the Royal Mail survey thingy so had my second of 2 letters to post off today. Got a couple of whoopsies in Asda nearby but nothing outstanding. Debated trying Ts on my way home and I'm so glad I did. Not sure if the following is for me or one of the boys:

Lots O Huggin Interactive Bear for £19 :D RRP £40

Also managed to get one of those Thornton Eggs for 1p but will believe it when I see it. Half hoping it doesn't get honoured after finding my TCO stash earlier :o
