    morning 4p

Thought the tribute to Gary Speed was fantastic.

How brave were his two sons to lead the team onto the pitch infront of a packed stadium

    morning FQ .

Yeah these were a while back. Just a mispriced item. Walked in a store one day and there was a load of em sat on display with a nice white SEL for £5 each. I duly rescued them from Mr T's clutches :)

we had a few plus the £2 ones as well .
Actually I think she was a scapegoat. .

you are limited to 10 pricechecks in one month per email address. If you haven't submitted 10 pricechecks, then re-submit your details. sometimes it works if you slightly alter the date/time. i.e if your receipt (time) says 0915, then input 915 instead. Ignoring the zeros ad re-submitting can work.

is this 10 positive receipts (with money back) ? , as I seem to pump them in to TPC at the rate of 10 a week .

I don't understand this 10 pricecheck per month thing?! I've been putting on easily 10 a day some days and have so far, (fingers crossed, touches wood!) had them all back with no problems. Most don't give me a JTD because they've been wombled! I put them through anyway, just in case! Do you mean, price cheacks where you know they'll give you a JTD are limited? I'm confuddled!!

On another note, I ordered from milk and more the other day, delivery today. I got my 'free' creme eggs, but delivery note says the toilet rolls I ordered were unavailable! Website says the order is still pending so I rang them and was told if I order again, I'll still get £10 off my next order. Will todays creme eggs still be free?! Does that mean I can order more free ones?! I didn't want to ask on the phone because I didn't want to draw their attention to it!! Oh just thought, what if they charge me for todays eggs?  I didn't really want them anyway, only ordered them because they were free!!! :rotfl:

Sorry for waffling, just wondered if anyone else had had this?

    Ta muchly peeps!

Well donoe you, sounds like a blessing in disguise.

Just out of interest, did you go to the meeting? I'm just nosey and wondered what exactly they'd managed to drag out of your murky past by interrogating your privelege card.

yes i went to the meeting, just said they had cctv of me price checking the phone , etc
and that i told my partner about it etc
i did ask to c it, but she said not at the moment

she just went on and on about rubbish , i think i cut off at one point!!
well i didnt admitt to any thing at all. so i was suppose to go to another meeting and then from there, maybe another meeting to decided the out come.
i gave my notice in sunday , as they had to pay me for the saturday as i wasnt resigned. so two days off at there expense fully paid lol.

I'm caught between FK and Frequent.

All I can see that Helen has done is for her partner to get a DTD. A lot (if not most) of us on here do that or worse! Where I have my issue is that unfortunately for most employers you can bring the company into disrepute even off shift. Not sure there would have been the same issue if H hadn't returned the item but if your face doesn't fit, I'm sure Ts would find some excuse for your family members affecting your job. I know when I was at school, just wearing the uniform had the same effect i.e. if you did something whilst in uniform that could bring shame on the school you could kiss goodbye to your education. Same goes for policemen - get into a scrap with some drunken fool while off duty and you could find yourself in trouble with your boss. On the other hand why would the actions of anyone except those directly employed by Ts have any effect on your ability to do your job?

Having worked for Ts many moons ago I saw how a nice family run business got ruined and turned into a faceless cash cow when Ts took over. I know it sounds daft but one of the first things Ts insisted on was not calling the manager Mr Bloggs but Joe instead. I've only ever called one manager since "Mr ..." but it was respectful.

If my children were starving I'd rather sell myself that work for Ts ever again. Onwards and upwards Helen.

Caz , but we don't work for T's and not many of us drive 25 miles to another store to return items .
I wish Helen well in finding new employment as the alternative is soul destroying .

    Good Luck Helen .

fwiw think you did the right thing Helen , would have been horrible working under those circumstances.
