  • Hi All
Havent been on much lately, so hugs and well wishes to all. Dont seem to have time to sit at the computer, think Ive finally come out of hibernation. Off to cut the lawns in a mow (lol sorry) but just wondering if anyone knows any good sites for recycling ink cartridges. Ive been having an almighty spring clean and have found loads of stuff that needs dealing with, so when I get to the ebaying bit I might have chance to sneak on here a bit more often. Missing you guys tho :(

she resign, it was better than getting sacked as can still get a reference

not sure i'd actually ask them for a reference, while aware you cannot write anything bad, your not obligated to write anything good either, perhaps it is what is not on the reference...

    Happy Birthday Freddies

Happy St David's to the Welsh.

Thought the tribute to Gary Speed was fantastic.

How brave were his two sons to lead the team onto the pitch infront of a packed stadium.

Morning everyone, am here with spanners eagerly awaiting arrival of new bike :D

  • Hi all, beautiful St David's Day.
Not much to report here. Used some ssm vouchers. Got really excited in the carpark when I spoted a long receipt. Couldn't wait to get home and check it - 20 kitkats @ £1 ea and a pot noodle, lol. Must have been the kitkat chunky x 4 that's on offer :(
I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:

It'll be the Store Manager that gets into trouble if anyone does because I specifcally asked him when he was serving me (jumped on a till to keep the queues down lol):D

Crikey, thats not a good show from WHS if even the store managers can't get such an obvious thing right. He may as well have handed you money from the till to spend elsewhere!

    Well done you though! :T

Used City Link through Parcel2go a few days ago and all went very smoothly. Will be doing the same for Blondy parcel.

£5 DAB radios? Am I too late FK?

Yeah these were a while back. Just a mispriced item. Walked in a store one day and there was a load of em sat on display with a nice white SEL for £5 each. I duly rescued them from Mr T's clutches :)

Actually I think she was a scapegoat. We all know that store after store run shoddy policies.

What about all the staff who have taken loads of the recent £1 items before they even make it to the shop floor?

If Mr Clarke wishes to contact me directly, I could furnish him with the details of dozens of stores with corrupt management and the antics that go on. My guess is though they can't be bothered to clean up their mess.

Hugs for Helen, hope you find another job soon.

Does anyone know, if I bought an item from T's that was £6 and was 2 for £8 in A's... will it price check??

It should do, regardless of you buying one or two. I assume if you had bought two (£12 at T) then you would get £4 back JTD. If you bought one, depends how much one was in A
