Think I might be brave and try this tomorrow. Its a pity they dont sell IPADS as I would try to get enough cards to pay for one, or do you think thats a bit over the top.

It's a mission I would love to see someone try...I hadn't even thought what to actually spend the gift cards on as I don't often shop in there but they'll be good for pressies and to spend when they do their next glitch!

Well ....I went out to try the WHsmiths thing......signs on all card displays so i found a card and went to till, bought card plus £15 giftcard fro £11.99.

SA was lovely and I told her I was going to be a pain and buy more and use the giftcards....she said go for it! So I wasted 30 mins choosing cards (all less than £2!) and went back to till.....the giftcard would not work, SA said it might not activiate until tomorrow and the message on the screen said 'not valid today'

Has anyone else had this happen?

How rude of me.....evening all ..........hugs to all xxxxxxx off to catch up xxxxx

No, all of mine worked straight away - within minutes of each other! Perhaps the SA didn't load it properly when you first bought it?

    Evening everyone!

Got my JTD through today, but T's seem to have forgotten that 400ml Herbal Essences are 2 for £3 in Asda!!!:mad:

    1 x NIVEA SHOWER DIAMOND TOUCH 250ML £ 1.85 £ 1.00
    1 x 7 UP LIGHT LEMON & LIME 2 LTR BTL £ 1.89 £ 1.00
    1 x SURE WOMEN APD RADIANT 150ML £ 1.95 £ 1.00
    1 x LYNX COOL METAL SHOWER GEL 250ML £ 2.37 £ 1.00
    2 x HERBAL ESSENCES COND BEAUTIFUL ENDS 400ML £ 6.64 £ 4.40

I'm sure people here were reporting they got the proper amount on JTDearlier last week.

I like the sound of the WHSmith deal, thanks for posting it here, I'll read the thread and see what it's all about.

    From my receipt dated 24th:

    2 x HERBAL ESSENCES SHAMPOO DAZZLINGSHINE 400ML £ 6.64 £ 3.00
    8 x LENOR PURE CARE SENSITIVE 750ML £ 15.92 £ 8.00

Looking on mysupermarket, the beautiful ends on isn't part of the 2 for £3 - sorry :o

On the asda website it is part of the deal. (Tesco don't use MSM, but Asda.com so they should honour it).

No biggie really, I'll use it and tbh it's the kind of shirking I've come to expect from T's, so no big surprise really.

    It's only a game

I see you've changed your post just before I was about to reply. Yes, Ts will use whatever suits them to get out of paying up. I generally use MSM but tend to double check on the Asda site to be sure to be sure :rotfl:

    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/#/tesco-price-comparison/conditioner/herbal_essences_beautiful_ends_conditioner_400ml.html

I can think of 2 very good examples of shirking. The Cadbury Heroes that Ts said As didn't sell. I know they were free of DTD but on principle I called HO and got the JTD because the price check lied. I also bought some wine a while back that had compared before and after but on a nice JTD didn't. Chalked that one up to experience.
