    Afternoon all.
    Just managed to catch up.
Took Purdy for a run on the beach this morning and popped into town to collect a Boots.Com order (which wasn't there :()
There is a very small Tesco Metro so didn't expect them to have much....but I did get my free bubbly bar and picked up just 2 bottles of lenor as it was heaving in there and I don't know what they are like about coupons.
Anyway, she took them no problem and handed me my change, receipt and the coupons back!!

I'm in a bit of a dilemma....do I phone the store and tell them as her till won't balance by £2 odd or should I use them again...and if so will they show as already having been redeemed.
I'm inclined to go with the first option....

First option. Honesty is always good. :)

Hover your mouse over the sticker and it should tell you what you need to get/do in order to get the sticker! :)
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

  • In the absence of any Tesco glitches I thought that I would post about the WHS giftcard deal (the original thread is on the discount code section for some reason!) - just to say that I am amazed that this hasn't had more interest - I can vouch that it works!

I bought a greetings card for £1.75 and the giftcard for £10 (but they give you £15!), did this 8 times, ended up with 8 greetings cards and £37.51 on giftcards ( £15 x 2, and balance of £7.51 on another). Only stopped as it was school run time!

I managed the first 5 transactions without any trouble but then the manageress came on the till and once she realised what I was doing she decided to check the details of the offer that they had been sent in minute detail - I was waiting at the till for more than 5 minutes whilst she read everything! - to make sure that I could make multiple purchases using giftcards to buy more giftcards and in the end she couldn't find anything that said it couldn't be done so she decided that this was allowed!

You are allowed to use WHS giftcards to buy more WHS giftcards - apparently it's only their competitors giftcards that you can't buy (eg. Next etc that they sell in the store)!

I went through the tills separately for each transaction to avoid causing a queque behind me and also to keep each transaction separate because you end up with a lot of receipts and other rubbish each time - so take a big bag and be prepared!

In the absence of any Tesco glitches I thought that I would post about the WHS giftcard deal (the original thread is on the discount code section for some reason!) - just to say that I am amazed that this hasn't had more interest - I can vouch that it works!

I bought a greetings card for £1.75 and the giftcard for £10 (but they give you £15!), did this 8 times, ended up with 8 greetings cards and £37.51 on giftcards ( £15 x 2, and balance of £7.51 on another). Only stopped as it was school run time!

So you purchase 1 greeting card (£1.75) and a £10 giftcard (total £11.75) but you get a £15 giftcard. Excellent, so you're £3.25 up.
After this did you do something different (or did you just keep doing that transaction? (to make £3.25 each time)
I'm easily confuddled when it comes to glitches! :rotfl:

UPDATE: Don't worry - found a breakdown of it on the other thread!
