Oh I didn't know that. Will need to remember that in March. Normally me and sis make a dash for the train station to head in to the 'Dam where we go for a walk along one of sex shop streets. Down the street is a kebab shop that does a mean T Bone steak and chips.

Once we've stuffed our guts we have a wander round or if time doesn't permit, head back to the airport to pick up some cheap booze/fags/baccy.

We generally stay out of city and take trams in when we fancy, generally night, wink wink!!

I love the aflushdyke? Not sure of spelling and too lazy to check! The big dam, 10km, and san channs for the windmills and cheeses. Biking through edam...ah so need to go back.

I love the dutch people too, so polite, and i always get mistaken for a dutch woman.

Can you believe, last time we were there, we got free bus instead of buying a strippentag, as it was the drivers birthday. Imagine that happening here?
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.

Has anybody had their comfort vouchers refused? I did today with the reason that they are on offer at £1 so can't be used :o(

That's what you call a trouting I'm afraid but no that's absolute rubbish I used 4 yesterday on the ones down from £1.80 to £1.00, total lies.

If you can try to use them again do, you only have until Wednesday though then they run out.

Hi sharkbait, unfortunately looks like you came aross a diligent SA as strictly speaking that is correct. Nearly all coupons state not to be used in conjunction with any other offer (this one certainly does) though by far the majority of SAs either turn a blind eye to this or are unaware/do not read the coupon. We all deliberately save the coupons until there is a good offer, so I think you were unlucky.

Best advice is not to argue, and as Smart1e says, just try them in a different store. Or next day same store different till!

Beautiful here too, planned on making cupcakes today and going to the park. But plans down the drain as I woke up with a sore throat from hell and feel really tired, weak and _pale_!

Am so frustrated that I keep getting colds nearly every month and they take so long to go! Important day at work tomorrow that i cannot miss too!:wall:

I've tried saltwater gargling, honey lemon water, vapourub, nothing seems to be as effective. I feel like the more I get them, the more my home remedies don't work!

    Any cures please, please, share!:o

    TIA

Try sucking on a strepsil honey and lemon one every 3 hours.

That's what i did last week and cold lasted just over day and half :)

When my daughter had tonsillits I was told to get her to gargle with coca cola - the colder the better - it certainly helped her.

I got one of my price checks back. Did I buy the wrong Lenor Pure Care then?

I did as well ... the one to look for (quite elusive in my neck of the woods) is white and has "Endorsed by Allergy UK" at the top of the lable above "Lenor"
