Ugh, I hate the store with a passion I'm afraid - mainly because it's usually the weekend when I go there and the car park is just such a complete nightmare, after the battle to find a space, it's full of drivers who don't stop at the zebra crossings and now to add into the mix..RATS! I do love the KK smell though.
Oh, btw, I mentioned TK Maxx for pillowsdizzyditzy wrote: »Is it really bad that I have beautifully folded displayed towels in the bathroom but the kids and I have towels that we use kept in our bedrooms:o
I have a hand towel in the bathroom for everyday use that gets hidden if people come round. The display towels only get used by guests. However I change the set and wash them weekly and refold them daily ocd or what:o

That is so sweet FK, what a lovely image :A and it must have worked coz I had a really good night's sleep
Mr 3Dogs was still under the influence of the morphine today, so, although we talked, he kept dozing off. Nothing to report except that he is drinking water today after just having sips so far, and for the first time, he could have something off the drinks trolley - he was offered black tea, black coffee or cocoa and had a cup of black tea which he said was wonderful and the best drink he'd ever had  I don't know when he can move onto clear soup, milk in drinks, ice cream, yoghurts, etc.
After an hour and a half, he told me to get off home as he would just be sleeping, and he has asked me to tell friends not to visit when he is a drowsy as this. I got some booklets about Macmillan support as well as one about Chemo - it makes me feel better to have information about what he/I/we are facing - knowledge comforts me
When I got home I rang his eldest son but not in and I did not want to tell him about his Dad on his mobile as he could be anywhere, so I rang Mr 3Dogs' brother K who broke down so it was very difficult. He was going to get ready straight away and go over to tell their Dad and sister, then Mr 3Dogs' younger son. His Dad rang me but was very upset, naturally, and I spoke to his sister too who was distraught. I have promised to text with general updates but to ring is any further news or changes. His Dad is too ill to come down and his brother K offered but I said to wait until we had more news on prognosis and treatment.
I then nipped round to my disabled friend's for a cuppa and a chat, and when I got back there was a message from Mr 3Dogs' DS2, so I rang him back. He is determined to come down with his brother DS1 during the week, so he is going to sort this out. I told him I would keep him informed by text and/or phone. He was concerned whether I was ok, so I told him I have 'my block wall up' and just carrying on as normal, for now. It is the telling people that nearly breaks down the wall though, that is tough
Keeping you all informed helps me, by writing it down, and all the advice and support I recieve is so much appreciated, so I hope you don't mind or think that it is cluttering up the thread
Going to do a bit of catching up now
3Dogs, please dont ever think that we mind or think that you are "cluttering" up the thread, that is utter nonsense!

Evening lovely people!
A slow day for me at Mr T's Emporium today , just the 2 DTD's...one was even accidental!!!:eek::eek: Yes really!!!
I won't say the items or the stores as they have all gone anyway but the first wasn't even an OOD sel,it just scanned at 8 times the shelf price...some of them fell into my trolley at that point....oops.DTD no problem:)
Next store no scannerbut bought something I have bought lots of times before always cheap but when paying was WAY more expensive
:D:D, I nearly had a heart attack as I wasn't sure I had enough money to pay as I didn't know!!Managed to pay, could not believe my luck...DTD given with no problem at all didn't even have to ask.
I did encounter another Jobsworthwho tried to tell me that the product didn't match the SEL and was doing sleight of hand worthy of the great Paul Daniels to try to confuse me.Excuse me pal , that is the same product EXACTLY oh look even the numbers match!Sadly I had purchased over 20 of said items.Bad luck.:(:D
Arguing with Jobsworths had become a new hobby of mine!

Oh and I ended up with more money than I started with even after my shopping lol! And used my last 4 £5 off £40 vouchers thanks to being "overcharged"!

Lutzi1 the dunnlopillo diamond is a great mattress shame they are no longer made in Harrogate. I use their pillows.
For those after super kingsized sheets Lidl regularily have them in from £6.99. Also you can get 3ft pillows(not from lidlbut elsewhere) so they go across the top of the bed leaving no gaps.
HC stunning bed:j
I should also admit I have aduvet obsession and have 4 pillows, 2 bolsters, 3 cushions and a throw on my bed. Sometimes it's easier to sleep on the sofa:rotfl::rotfl:
Will have to have a look in Lidl. All my good JL ones have fag burns in them thanks to a certain little make up, fake tan, lipstick wearing muppet.:mad:0
