Right so I'm on a flower whoopsie session tonight, but I'm reckoning they might reduce a bit later as it's Valentines day, so going to hold out a bit longer. Wish I'd flipping checked the sell by dates on them when I was in on Sunday though!

Over on the 'other' Tesco thread a few people are reporting that the 'Family Meal Deal' £6 doesn't kick in if you get the garlic bread slices so DTD back....:)

I have a residence order but I don't think any judge would take too kindly to someone trying to make his children homeless. No, his 1st ex-wife was a lot better at doing as she was told and not answering back. When I stopped being a doormat he showed his true colours and that's why the police ended up getting involved.

He can try and make me homeless HC but at the end of the day, his sons will find out when they're older just what he did. Their own grandmother even suggested I leave the house and go to a womens shelter/hostel. What kind of person would see their own grandchildren in a hostel? Cut from the same cloth is the general consensus.

Hi, i do understand what you are going through. My first husband was a bully i put up with the abuse for three years, and when i did leave him the first part was hard because sadly you do become a victim and think you have no value. But now 20 years on i am with someone special and i have two great kids[well they are in there 20s now]But to this day i have told no one about the abuse i had to put up with. That is the crazy part i still feel ashamed that i let someone who was supposed to love me treat me so bad.Cant beleave i am writing this down after all these years.Sorry for going on.

Yes yes yes cheesecake is my thing!!! It's my fave recipe ever and so easy but no good for those on a diet as you will see...

    1 can condensed milk
1 300ml ish pot double cream, or elmlea but not quite as good
3 large or 4 small lemons or limes

base is 225g digestive or ginger biscuits
    75g butter

Bash biscuits and melt butter, mix, put in bottom of pan and put in freezer.

For topping , zest and juice the lemons, tip in the condensed milk and cream and whisk, it will thicken really fast.

Get base out of freezer, pour topping on , leave to set 6 hours ish. You can cut up pieces to freeze too.

This feeds 8 people generously so you can halve it too.

Even my dessert hating friend Ros adores this and she made it for her Xmas dinner, I was so proud!!

    It is divine...:)
i so want to try this recipe, but i dont think i can bring myself to use double cream as its meant to be used. my mixer would be itching to make butter:o:o

Haven't heard that song since the days of Childrens Favourites on the radio with Uncle Mac. Wasn't that version but brings back memories. Such innocent and simple days:)

I was subjected to physical, emotional and financial abuse when I was with my ex. I'm so happy to be away from him and his controlling ways. Things are at their toughest right now for a number of reasons, but once everything is sorted out and when I'm finally divorced it will feel as though a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders - I know it will.

I can't wait for that day to arrive. I've got a huge amount of worry to deal with at the moment, so much I'm uncertain of. It's making me really ill right now.

However, I'm looking forward to the day that I can join you caz in saying that I'm back to my old self again. Well done. I'm glad you're there.

Just trying to keep myself from going under right now. Not sure I'm winning that battle. :(

Hi stick with it you will get there in the end i know it desent seem like that now but you will.keep your chin up.
