It wasn't too bad:o. OH wanted to take the trip and thinking that it was a one off, I agreed. It was fabulous. Your mind can't comprehend the vastness of the falls, especilly when you can see three different countries at the same time. Then there are all the rivers/tributaries (if that's the correct words) that you can see from above. The red soil that spills over into the Devil's Throat made it look amazing when we went. He even had to do the heli tour in Rio. Again, it was brilliant. I'm scared of heights, so panicked when the pilot said that we had to re-fuel mid-air!:eek::eek::eek:

How long ago is it since you went?

Our guide on the boat trip told us that further up river a dam had been created for Hydro Electricity and the result of that meant another water fall 10 times more spectacular than Iguassu had been flooded and lost forever.

Thank you for lovely new thread, fk.
Managed to get some temptations today but nothing else. SA had to come over twice as SS called her but didn't notice them at 1p thank goodness.
There are 8 boxes of Temptation biscuits (as of 2.30 pm) in the Sealand Rd Tescos Che/ter. hth
