I have full head highlights, cut, blowdry and straightened £40.
The same salon has done it for years, and I do realise the money I pay is nothing to what you guys pay doon sooth!0 -
I have a root retouch and blowdry for £35 or a root retouch, cut and blowdry for £40 or £45 (can't remember, and she always gets the price mixed up).******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0

The one time I wish I didn't live in London! I go to a local salon and pay £42 for cut and blow dry, but by the time you've added the tip, it's nearly £50...
Still years ago I used to go to Nicky Clarkes at around £90 a pop + tip... EEK! Much more MSE now!0 -

Cut, blow dry and colour every 6 weeks is around £60-80 depending on what colour I have done. Touch up of highlights is at the cheaper end of the scale.0

Mine is somewhere between £35 and £40, I can't remember as I always end up buying products whilst I'm at the till! That's for a cut and blowdry0

I'm in the North East and pay £19 for a cut & blow dry. I have to get my hair cut every 3 to 4 weeks, so I'd cry if it cost much more! From Starrystarrynight to Starrystarrynight1 and now I'm back...don't have a clue how!0

The last two haircuts have been at a friends house. Her mobile hairdresser came, and she did mine and my friend's for £5 each. I usually go to a shop three times a year for a cut. I wash it before I go, hairdresser damps it down and I walk out with it still damp. Don't need a blow dry. Always under a tenner, I won't pay any more, and I don't tip, can't afford it.

Full head colour, cut and blow-dry is £84 in this neck of the woods, prime commuter land about 35 miles from central London.
On the subject of tipping - I don't because I have no idea how much and who and don't want to get it wrong. I would like to tip, so what would be the going rate for the colourist, washer and stylist ? So if I tipped 10% of the bill it would be £8.40, rounded up to £9. How would I split this 3 ways ? What about : £4 for the stylist, £3 for the colouring lady and £2 for the washer girl (great head massage !).
Thanks for any tips !
