The going rate where I live seems to be currently £32 - £38 for a cut and blowdry or £16-£18 for a dry trim. Just wondered what other people had done and how much do you pay?

Cut and blow dry is £30. That's around average for my area. I've had my haircut by the same lady for 10 years though.0

I rarely go to the hair dressers but when I do I pay around £20 or less, sometimes some hairdressers have promotion going on like 50% off. Look out for those vouchers0

£50:00 for a cut and blow dry. I hate going to the hairdressers, I find it really stressful. I've spent so many years trying various salons, being happy for a couple of cuts then I find they just seem to not listen.
The one I'm going to at the mo was recommended by a friend at work. She has been going to this guy for 20 years. She always looks lovely, so I thought I'd give him a go. So far so good.
I'm happy to pay this as long as I'm really happy with the cut. This price is about my limit. Especially as I have really short hair and have a tiny bit snipped off each time!!0 -
most hairdressers charge about £30 for a cut and blow dry here. however about a year ago a £10 salon opened up, and now a few doors down from them there's a £9 salon
ok, its a bit of a cattle market, but for the price, im prepared to sit and wait, and so it seems are most other people as its usually queued out the door

Always have mine done at the same salon by whichever trainee is just about to qualify. All services half price. All under the supervision of the salon owner. Never, ever been disappointed and have saved a small fortune over the years.0
