  • Make the most of your local sure start children's centre, great place to meet others, get support and it's all free until they're 5 (have a google to find your nearest one)
  • To enjoy every moment with them because its all gone in a flash.
I had 3 under 5 and then another aged 7.
now all flew the nest and that time has gone, how i wish i had it back.
often find myself daydreaming of when they were toddlers.

someone said about treating them differently but their family dressed them the same.

I used to dress mine the same all the time. And it was handy.

Occasionally people would come up to me and say 'have you lost one?' - a quick check around my feet and yes, one of the blighters had done a runner - 'she's over there' . Which was handy when I took my eyes off them (or they went in different directions).

or I could say 'I've lost one, it looks just like this' - and everyone knew what to look for.

I think that helped on many occasions.

DD2 was born when DD1 was 14 months. Loads of pics of DD1 and then DD2 kinda got lost cos it was so busy. The only thing I wish did was take more pics of the birth and well just everything really. We got so swept up that there is much more to look back on of DD1 than DD2.

ETA. my two little peas dancing around in the living room laughing themselves stupid. Now nearly 14 and 15. Never regretted having them as close as I did. Enjoy.

There are 19 months between my two and I can't remember much about DD being a baby ( she came second) they are all grown up now age 26 and nearly 25 and they are great friends (even though they fall out spectacularly sometimes) and they have a close circle of friends boys and girls belonging to both of them. I came from a family of 6 my mum had 4 under 5's and no washer LOL...so I had it easy

  • 15 months between me and my little brother. Mum said that it was very hard work for a few years but the great thing was that all the baby stuff (nappies/ potty training/ night feeds) was over and done with much quicker.

Enjoy! They'll be off to secondary school before you know it :D
They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.

That it's not that bad - kind of a blur (had 15 months then 22months so had 3 in 3 years) at points, but just take things as they come and it all worked they fitted together and it was like I'd never not had more than 1

a friend of mine had two within 11 months - she just used to say - 'its no different than having twins'! but, with twins they are both roughly at the same stage! whenever you have a second child there are issues! having kids is hard work - whatever the age gap there are advantages and disadvantages!
  • That if you went on holiday and forgot your pill , doing it once would resault in number 3s arrival lol x
