Sagaris sorry to hear that you've had such a stressful time.

CY oh, no, poor DD2. Just when she thought she was over it....

Uh.... everything else I was going to say has fled my head.:(

Kitchen day with following my own lists, as it's Monday, so will be Dettox-ing everything within reach in there shortly.:D

We need to try and get my hair done tonight, which should be an interesting exercise; I think I'll just have to dose up with Oramorph beforehand, and try to grit my teeth rather than screaming. It needs doing though; there's a 2" wide silver stripe down the middle, and I have to have a photo taken on Wednesday when Dylan arrives. ("Holiday snap" for his owner - standard procedure).
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Hello and welcome Happy, great to see you over here.:j:j:j
Everyone is really friendly. Start on level one and see how you go. If you don't manage the other levels it doesn't matter as it all comes around again next week.

Sorry to see so many poorlies, hugs for all of you.

I haven't had anything like a cold again this Winter. Maybe it is because I very rarely go out but other family members have things??

LW I had my hair done on Friday and the back ache is still with me. I also wonder whether it gave me the frozen shoulder. The things we go through for beauty :D

I am in this week, didn't do so well last week so rather than feel rubbish about it I deliberately didn't come back on here. Been faffing with my new laptop this morning as it wouldn't turn on so 3 hours later an a long call to support it is hopefully sorted. I am quite behind now. We have a friend coming for dinner and staying the night today so I am doing a quick whizz around the house which I hope will make the rest of the week easier.

    So far I have
    Dusted everywhere
    Cleaned upstairs bathrooms
    Vacuumed upstairs
    Done some of the kitchen

    List for today
    Vac stairs
    Vac downstairs
    Clean downstairs bathroom
    Finish kitchen
    Bake cake
    Go shopping
....and from the look of that apparently I am also going to be superwoman! :rotfl:

    Afternoon all

I've done the kitchen/diner and also dusted and polished in the living room and hallway and vacuumed through and up the stairs. Did a little bit of painting in the kitchen (it was decorated last year, just a few little marks to go over). Washing done and some of it hung outside, not that good a drying day so I didn't put all the little bits out. Went for my walk and saw lots of dogs having a good run round.

    Nearly time to start cooking.

GreenBee - I think it's just the nature of my job hunny so I think an increase of fresh fruit and veg along with some multivitamins, earlier nights and exercise would probably be a good remedy for me :)

Oh no, it's not afternnoon already is it??!!

What have I done already, apart from not a lot?

Got up, breakfasted, showered, put on WM. Went over to DD4's to feed her cats and let them out (and gave them a cuddle), washed breakfast dishes and put away, then updated this year's diary with all the birthdays (about time too!). Hung up washing, then I made some scones. Sampled one, then thought I might as well have an early lunch while I was at it (cheesy mash with broccoli and pickled gherkins - yes, it sounds weird, but it was very nice, followed by a second scone!) But the morning just went, don't feel I have much to show for it.

Now on here, so will shortly get on with as much of the list as I feel I want to. Then I want to get some reading done - book group coming up, and have not started the book yet!

Out tonight to see DD4 and her family (they come home this afternoon), and take her pressie for her birthday tomorrow.

I won't be around tomorrow as going to London with DD3, also meeting up with DGD2. (We were hoping to see the David Hockney, but totally booked up.)
Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!
  • I've no idea how the hob got cracked but we've had it 12 years so I think it's served us well!

(It's a ceramic one - now do I get another one or go for an induction one?)

DD2 is sleeping it off.... hopefully...
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
  • CY hope the hob isnt too expensive to replace and hope DD2 is feelignmuch better when she wakes up
