Welcome to the thread 123budget :)
I'm plodding along although feeling a bit like rubbish right now because I have just had a silly argument with my dad on the phone :( I'm more upset that I've upset him :(
    Catch you later,

Healthy vibes to your DS3 - I completely understand that with Diabetes this type of bug is SO more serious!

If anyone has any spare healthy vibes we could do with some - DD1 has now got the stomach bug.... and with her having ME this is so much moore difficult for her.

She is currently dozing but is looking/feeling awful!

I am in danger of losing it - in 2012 so far we have had 5 people with colds, 4 with a stomach bug and 3 have had tonsilitis! And we're still in February!

Sending healthy vibes your way too... We have had pretty much the same..

ear infections, throat infections, chest infections, bronchiolitis, tummy bugs, colds.. OH is on his third already this year!, all we need now is a boil! lol On top of DS3's diabetes, DD1's morning sickness which is STILL ongoing at 24 weeks :(, my arthritis which is really bad at the moment which of course does not help my mood! and DD4's pain associated with her cerebral palsy and growth.. and Tiddles leg pain.. it is not fun!

I found a work top, Dot JUST got up at 3pm!!! The DW has been on 3 times and there is still more to go in.. Tesco list under way!

Note to myself: must sort socks and undies as they dry - does anyone else end up with a big basket to sort through?:o

Yes to both, I'm afraid. I've had such a good time this week that I'm struggling to motivate myself to do anything other than meals and grocery shopping. :o Not enough time to focus on each room properly, so I'm with you, hex. I'm going to find an area I can get done in a HHC (stairs look promising), so I'm more likely to carry on. DS2 has been sent to strip his bed and I'll do ours. Not much point in doing a proper list, as there will be precious little to cross off.

DH is working for the first time in a while at the weekend - hope it was worth it for him, as he'll be frustrated if it wasn't. DS1 has gone out to his friend's. I need to get him downstairs and involved more.

(((Hugs))) to all flyladies and families who aren't well or struggling with other issues. No major ones here at the moment, thankfully - just CBA after a very relaxing week.

Managed to get quite a few bits for DS2 and not at too bad a price. I'll pick him up a few more bits on my own and then start on some stuff for DS3, must rummage in the loft tomorrow too.

    Really starting to ache now.

Flying, ironing all done. Duvet washed. Need to reload WM for tonight and do a bit of filing.

  • Had a bit of a bonkers day today so no flying done at all really (although the day isn't out yet!)

Had the outlaws over this weekend and they were gearing up to leave when we noticed a car parked suspiciously close to their driver's side door. I went to have a look and someone had crashed into it...backwards! :eek:We ended up ringing the police because we didn't know if it was kids messing about or what.

It turned out that it was a woman in a house up the road where she was visiting, and her car had rolled down the hill (we think because she hadn't put the handbrake on properly). So we ended up spending all of the morning and most of the afternoon with the PIL's ringing insurers and taking photos of the cars.

Ah well! I hope other people's days have been slightly more fruitful! Might get a WM X 1 on before long, best get a wiggle on!

My cooker is clean :D:D:D:D.. under the black greasy crust it is... black!!! lol

Another 2 loads of washing washed, 2 more dried and 2 more folded and away.

Beasts fed... and are getting in their pj's

Squeak has been most pestilent today :p.. and Dot is seeming a little better today thank goodness, but then she did on Thursday and was worse again Friday. She has been watching us faffing in the kitchen while sucking her thumb... and is now sucking it in her chair looking at nothing.. I am not sure how that thumb is still attached. the osteopath has made a massive difference to her sucking and she is feeding so much better and the back section of her skull is now not jammed in place so her head looks a much better shape finally.

Best get Squeak ready for bed.. and finish knitting this cardigan.. I have 3 I need to stitch up now!

Been feeling really unwell this week with no energy (got the lurgy) so only managed level ones. Really fed up, OH had an operation on Tuesday and I am supposed to be looking after him! Why do these things always come along together? :(
