DH thinks he is being helpful loading the WM. He doesn't check pockets and mixes colours and fabrics. Everything is pink - my silk scarf is ruined and DS3 is in floods of tears because his iPod has just come out of the WM. it's going to be a long day....

Thanks JennyJewell, Pigpen and JulieJim - feels less painful to at least not be doing it on my own.

oh no Mumto5, the only thing you can try with the ipod is the bag of rice in the airing cupbard and then leave it alone for a while.

Hasn't worked for my iphone this time sadly but it did last time.

  • Wow - just found this thread:j Can I do this please:D
have been on the Grocery Challenge and decided to start looking at some of the other threads/forums - there are sooo many.

Anyway def need to do this, never seem to be able to keep ontop of housework and often get embarrassed if people pop round unannounced - though if they are true friends it shouldn't really matter.

Not going to post a whole list of jobs but will try and do something everyday no matter how small then I might be at a point where I will start to get on top of things.

Yesterday: Cleaned main bathroom - shower screen (yuk) all nicely sparkling now.

So far today:- Completely caught up on ironing and sock and undie sorting! - until the next lot dries.

Note to myself: must sort socks and undies as they dry - does anyone else end up with a big basket to sort through?:o

other jobs for today - declutter kitchen table (dumping zone)
    and wash kitchen floor

DS3 is now unwell .. sicking and chucking.. so I am blood checking every 5 minutes :( .. Can we please have some healthy vibes?? I can't cope with him having to be in hospital.. :( (he is T1 diabetic for those who don't know)

OH is snoring in bed and I am about to embark on operation house reclamation! Hex.. we sre living in squalor so yes I understand.. I'll join you.. but we are doing one room at a time rather than bits

Anyone care to join me in a week of scrubbing and flinging?????

Healthy vibes to your DS3 - I completely understand that with Diabetes this type of bug is SO more serious!

If anyone has any spare healthy vibes we could do with some - DD1 has now got the stomach bug.... and with her having ME this is so much moore difficult for her.

She is currently dozing but is looking/feeling awful!

I am in danger of losing it - in 2012 so far we have had 5 people with colds, 4 with a stomach bug and 3 have had tonsilitis! And we're still in February!

    Afternoon all

Sorry so many of you are struggling with bugs right now.

Only laundry here so far today, I have been to pilates so feel very virtuous, tomorrow I shall feel very sore!

Going to have a cuppa and then I need to take DS2 to the shops to see if we can get some basic items of clothing as his cupboards are bear now.

Good vibes to all you flyers with healthy karma on its way!

I am all caught up, kids gone to panto with granny, so home alone till I go collect them tomorrow.

DW on, WM been on and hung to dry, slow cooker on, batch cooking done, bathroom clean, kitchen clean, living room and hall tidied and swept, garage tidied, laundry put away and eb@y parcels gone.

Even had a 15 min fling in the spare room! Ooh err.

I'm going to have a nap, and later will clean the sofa (again) and maybe play hunt the DVD as DS has lost his fire engine DVD and is a bit miffed :(

Might even do some baking and meal planning after! Get me, mrs organised!
