Beds stripped a day earlier than, washed (thanks to launderette) and drying on line because washer man isn't coming until tomorrow afternoon. I will go collect the pillowcase I left later. Am also, apparently, to be held up as shining example of single mother because I have own home, job & car :rotfl: - mind you was slightly depressed by lady in launderette asking me if I was still on my own and how long I had been...

Very quick coffee and then i'll be off again. Ds2 wants to get his lego out and to do that he has to put away the toys that are already out and i need to hoover.

fed the kids
sorted airing cupboard - given everyone a set of bedding each and told them to do their beds (well the DDs i did the DSs or they wouldnt get done. found better curtain for in the hall whilst in air cupboard so am going to iron that and swap it once the pots are washed. then i need to brush stairs and sort tea out. then hopefully make a cake and iron till DH gets home after tea want to knit or crochet so going to get it all done before he comes home.

CY hope DD is feeling a lot better now and i hope the rain clears off (but not this way please the washing basket is full again now all the beds have been changed)

note to self sewing machine needs to come out tomorrow DH needs new zip in work trousers and theres a couple of bits of mending to do

Oops that very quick coffee took 40 mins! I'm off to do some more now.

Dusty, sorry, that got lost in translation. The cat doesn't have an angora blanket, it's just fleece, but when I've hand washed it my hands are totally covered in fur and it looks like I've got gloves on! Horrid, she sheds all year round and never gets any less fur.

All washing dry and put away now - amazing for mid February.

I have tidied the kitchen and put the hoover round. I have a banging headache an my eyes are sore.

Going to have 5 mins and try and do some ironing.

Hi all,

Well, I've been on a HHC & managed to get a fair bit done - no kids, no DH - its blissful! I'm sure I will be missing them soon

I've managed to:

• Wrap Nephews present/card & pop to Post office to send it. Its really unlike me to be this organised.
• Clear floordrobe & sort washing piles
• S&S kitchen
• Reload WM with last weeks sheets that I left damp in the TD last weekend :eek:
• Empty kitchen bin
• sort paper recycling

Off for another HHC now....

I dared myself to look under DS bed this moring as per instructions and amazingly really clear. I think that 7 weeks into flying, my family are now just too scared to leave their rubbish just anywhere. So cleaned/washed his floor, bathroom floor and hall. Have just finished work now, so about to cook tea then relax with OH (may even go out later). Have a good evening everyone.
