Why do some companies hide there name when advertising jobs?

  • The sheer stress of doing something which is against every moral fibre of my being would result in poor performance (followed by sacking) or mental breakdown, or both. Therefore such a job is definitely out of bounds. There is a line that simply cannot be crossed. We are not machines.

Religion is covered by (much abused IMHO) law.

To my knowledge, vegetarianism is not a religion, but a lifestyle choice.
Religion is a CHOICE! I choose to be a non believer and othes choose a faith.

Too many laws for religion and the like if you ask me. I haven't eaten meat since I was 13 years old - near on 30 years.

So if you were out of work you would apply for a job at an slaugherhouse if there was one going, killing the animals? I bet you wouldn't!

If people want to work in a meat factory or slaughterhouse then that is their choice. If someone finds that type of work to be sickening then they shouldnt be forced into doing it.They are not being paid for by everyone elce, they have paid in the majority of cases thousands of pounds in tax and NI over the years.
As long as people are prepared to be reasonable in their jobsearch I dont see what the problem is.
We dont hear of lots of factories involved in meat production being unable to get staff, so there is no problem.
