Line stats are dependent on your router, plusnet have probably already had a look at them, however if you follow this link you should find the relevant information.

    http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/hardware/

    Look under troubleshooting.
You need all the info available e.g.

I'm with the post office not plusnet. I've googled and got the following router stats ( Netgear can't see model number ). I don't know how to post the picture but I got the same format you showed with the following info :

    Port - Status - TxPkts - RxPkts - Collissions - TxB's - RxB's - UpTime
    WAN - PPPoA - 1310407- 1770622 - 0 - 518 - 3773 - 131.15.42
    LAN - 10M/100M - 392439 - 0 - 0 - 18 - 0 - 1395.00.44
    WLAN - 11M/54M - 23592839 - 18003731 - 0 - 313 - 712 - 1395.00.34

ASDL Link - Downstream - Upstream
    Connection Speed - 160kbps - 192kbps
    Line Attenuation - 44db - 13.5db
    Noise Margin - 16db - 7db

I know the picture would be easier to read but that's the same information long-hand.

    Any help much appreciated.

    It is extremely slow.

Call the Post Office hotline using the 0800 not 0845 and ask THEM to the line check

    OK, have you any extensions?

If so remove the lower half of the master socket and plug your router into the test socket beneath.

Have you got another microfilter, if so try both in turn.

    Any improvement in stats?

I'm getting a bit lost here. Apologies as I really don't understand this stuff.
Any extensions ? The router is plugged into a five socket extension thingee - is that what you mean ?
I don't understand the 'removing the lower half of the master socket' ??
I don't know where the test socket is, do you mean power point or main phone socket ?? Sorry, I'm not being difficult, I just don't understand.

I'll go to PC World or somewhere to get a new microfilter but can only go tomorrow ( P.O. girl said they sell them )

Five socket extension thingy could be the problem. Remove it, then plug the router into the master socket via the microfilter, with nothing else connected.

    Retry stats.

PS This is what I was referring to before.

Did you know that you need a microfilter on every extension you have including Sky Boxes?

Sorry fiddiwebb I can't use that, it says ''Ensure your PC is directly connected to your modem/router via an Ethernet Connection (i.e. you are not connecting to the hub via a wireless network''

    We're wireless.

You'll have to dig out the Ethernet cable that came with the router. However that's not really the problem, yet, try what I suggested first.
