Big hugs and positive vibes to you Sunflower.0

Sunflower - lots of love to you and yours. I remember you posting about your hats - was it Haribro that made one for you?
I am so pleased that you have a way forward and that you remain positive - a real inspiration x
Jackie O - I had a wet room installed last year (when my life insurance paid up) and it has been brilliant. I so enjoy my showers now and spend hours in there - as do the kids!!
I have been out and about today, despite the snow:T:T:T. DD and I went to my Osteo appointment. Now she is a miracle worker and the difference to my general well-being has been amazing. Then I popped into see Mooloo and had a cuddle with DGD.
Hugs xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

H finally had his motorbike assessed after his bike accident in November (stupid Aviva were stalling, brokers then cancelled his claim......!!!!!! he's claiming off woman who knocked him off why it this so difficult). Well they want to write the bike off because they value it at £1800 and repairs cost £1500 which means we are out of pocket, again, because H paid £2500 for it. Bloke in showroom showed us his book and it was worth more than £1800 so not only has H been messed around since November about getting it repaired he's now lost a load of money. I can understand losing value over time but not that much in such a short space of time :mad:
Absolutely sod all benefit to having insurance other than to line their pockets

Bitsy,
When my OH's van got written off, he bought it off the insurance company cheaply, he then got the repairs done himself (again cheaply), and sold the van on, as well as getting the insurance money :money:.might be worth asking ? xx
Sunflower, sending love, glad they are sorting some treatment out for you xx0 -
Hi Chums ,
well Dr said he would send a letter to the O/T so its just a case of waiting and seeing. Carpet man gave a me a good estimate for my bedroom carpet so I just have to choose the colour, possibly old gold to match the mellowed old pine furniture that I have.
I have been rushing around for the past week so I'm going to relax and do very little if I can over the weekend. Hope everyone has a nice weekend and keeps nice and well wrapped up
cheers chums

Aw bitsy beans that's pants. We have just cancelled all our phone insurance. We made our first ever claim against Tesco when DD2 dropped phone and cracked screen. Mr T asked when it was done. 9 days ago replied OH in all honesty. Oh the claim has to be made within 7 days, goodbye. So that's it, all cancelled. We obviously still have car, bike and house as to get rid of those would be illegal / unwise. But we are not shopping any more at Mr T.MrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

They have said that's an option, H is considering his options, just annoying that he's losing so much money through no fault of his own.
Sunflower thanks for updating us, sending you lots of love and positive vibes xxxx

Sunflower: You are so brave and positive this has just GOT to work. There are some super funky wigs around, you'll look great. Lots of squeezy hugs and cuddles. Keep us posted.
Wuvvies: glad you got the detention sorted. It's a nightmare with all this travelling isn't it?
DundeeDoll: Rotten old Tescos. I really don't like their ethics.
I'd written a whole lot more but decided I was probably laying myself open to libel actions, so I've deleted it. But what a shabby way to treat their customers.
