I`ll need to let the guys in our office know about these new fangled objections, I can see sales taking a downward spiral :T

Take GeordieJoe down your office as a training piece on "how to overcome the toughest objections"!

A new evolution in sales is here...

    What do you reckon GJOE?
Need is something you have to have

Want is something you would like to have

    Thanks Marky,

Underestimating ones intelligence can be very patronising, to then add insult to injury he (assuming it's a male) disturbs you whilst the footies on.....

Actually, I hate football and was more offended that the twerp assumed I'd be watching it. :-) I liked a friends response to one of these though - 'Of course I have time to talk, you'll have to pay me up front for my time though'

I was just reading this thread and the doorbell went - guess who? A sales rep from British Gas, that's who! He must have thought a was slightly doolally when I began to giggle..............

He asked me if I'd ever thought of switching to BG.... I said if he checked the archives I had once been a customer of BG and I had had to bring in EnergyWatch to sort them out when BG blocked my switching to another company (for almost a year!)........... I also said that having once experienced the standard of BG Customer Service, I would sooner stick hot pins in my eyes then ever go back to being a customer of theirs again...........

He left pretty sharpish after that!

    :D
