loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

Loose is when your shoelaces aren't fastened or the waist of your trousers is too big. (soft sss sound)

Lose is what you have done when you cant find something that you had before or want to shed some weight. hard sss sound as in ZZZ)

What really REALLY bugs me is when people use the American spelling ie the noun license instead of licence.
    Yes I'm sad....

Plus we have turned everything into a 'condition'. I have a friend who can't spell for toffee. Ah but now she can boast about her dyslexia... :(
  • Infact, persue, ect
  • alot, wrong theirs....!
  • they was worn?
  • Bad spelling and grammar is a pet hate, although on here I have to calm my rage because if I point it out, you get everyone pouncing with the 'that's not helpful!' comments.

It is helpful, in that it shows them they need to go back to school. :p

Almost as bad as the double negative.
