    Happy update : The gammon has been saved :D

    Boiled it with some whole potatoes, and a bit of sugar for good measure, i changed the water twice and now its edible :rotfl:

    Thanks for all the suggestions, i'll most definetly remember to presoak next time...

    D'oh -cob rolls of course. I thought it might be a local dish. Bit slow on the uptake this week!

    I soaked my gammon gotten from Graig Organics on Amazon for 24hrs plus with frequent changes of water. I have now oven cooked it and it's fine.
    Usually I buy ready cooked Ham from Farmison as it's non watery etc.
