I'm often out for up to 7 hours on a Sunday watching my kids play rugby and when it's cold I always wear leggings tucked into long socks under my jeans.
I wear a vest, long sleeved thermal top and jumper tucked into alternate layers.
I've never been a hat person but started wearing them a couple of years ago.
