I've waited 121 days since my switch went live in June for my cash back which energyhelpline state is paid within 90 days.
I've sent two emails the first reply promising the money would be in my account within 7 days and you guessed it nothing:mad:
Second reply stated are looking in to what has happened, took 5 days to reply to tell me that.
I've been told nothing to explain the delay, eg did my new supplier send energyhelpline their commission or what?
They aren't exactly killing themselves trying to sort this out which means they don't care about their switch customers.
I threatened to start a thread on here but I see there's already quite a few so I will just join the queue of frustration.
Energyhelpline your customer care sucks and where's my money?:(0 -
No reply to last email so phoned energyhelpline.
Promised my cash back by the end of this week (for a second time).
Their reason/excuse for the delay? The huge number of people who took part in the Big Switch and the resulting backlog, ie not enough staff to deal with it but no doubt enough managers to count the commission from the energy suppliers!;)0 -
Hmmm - wish I'd read this thread before using them for a duel fuel switch last weekend...0

Update: no cashback money received.
Second promise to pay me broken.
123 days since my switch went live. 90 days being their stated payment due date.
Last email unanswered.
Make promises to pay then do not do it.

The Energy Helpline
The web site said I would be payed £50 Cash back for switching. I received my email confirming after 90 days I would receive £50. 4 months later nothing!
So I emailed them and there response was I was rejected, due to duplicate application.
I applied through there web site not another comparison site, they are false advertising so be warned.
I will not be using them again.
Cash Back Con.
