Con is short for 'confidence trickery'
To imply that I am conning the telecoms company, is to suggest that I am deceiving them by deception in a 'confidence scam'
My question was; "what are my rights, legally speaking"
What do I call that? I call it 'being prepared' ...Having the knowledge that other (helpful) people have offered, has put me in a position where I understand my rights, and so that I don't break the Law, and also so that the telecoms co don't shaft me.
There was never an intention to break the law, just to find out where I stand from a LEGAL POINT OF VIEW.
Yes, I called the phone company Nazis, but then they did also refuse to offer me a refund on an item that I did not want, order, or agree to purchasing...
Yes, I called you an idiot. You are obviously intellectually inept when it comes to reading, and indeed, your comprehension of the English language... (Please, check a dictionary if you disagree with this classification)
There is a huge difference between asking for legal advice and asking people to assist in 'obtaining goods by deception'
You should learn the difference before you start with the unfounded, uneducated, and unhelpful allegations.
As to what I choose to do with my breaks...None of your business.
Stick to the topic at hand, you'll be appreciated more.

This is why I think there are grounds for invoking Section 24 of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. Although your scenario was not intended to be covered by the legislation, you need to look at whether the wording of the legislation covers your scenario. The obstinacy of the phone company supports this position.
Im happy with my £80 rebate and a new contract with a cheaper provider.
I initially wanted '3' because I have an ipad with them and the internet is essentially, all I use... It'll do!0
