Just received my invitation but can't work out how to accept it without going through Facebook - any more information on that please?

    "You're in!
I'm excited to invite you to join Pinterest, a social catalog. I can't wait to have you join our little community.
To create your Pinterest account, click the link below and push the blue "FB Connect" button. You can also join with Twitter."

I set up a never-used Twitter account as I don't use facebook at all. Once you've got started there's no need ever to have Twitter or facebook again, so it's a daft set-up really. I think you can also use your existing twitter or facebook then disassociate the account, if you have one.
  • I'm going to need unwelding from the sofa at this rate :rotfl:

Did people used to "do things" rather than be on the internet all day? :D

  • I too, have received my invitation and I don't a Facebook OR a Twitter Account therefore I couldn't log in
  • I'm now officially a Pinterest member and I'm sure that it was one of two people on this thread who invited me. Thank you so much.
  • A friend told me about a website she frequents http://pinterest.com/

I love pinterest. I was invited by an online American friend last year and it rapidly turned into my favourite website. I had a terrible habit of finding stuff I wanted to do/make/bake and then forgetting to bookmark the page.

Now I have everything visually categorised onto different boards and rarely lose anything I want to make sometime in the future. I try not to look at peoples kitchens though because I don't want to suffer from kitchen envy :o

  • I know this isn't the right way, but i cant seem to find how i make a new post any help?
 Laugh otherwise you might cry
:j Smile and people will wonder what you've been up to :j

Go to the main forums page http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/, choose which board you want to post on, e.g. Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style, etc. Click on the title of that board and it will take you through to it. You'll see the current threads all listed under a green banner headline.
Just above the headline is a blue button that says 'New Thread' for you to start one of your choice.
HTH, and welcome to the boards! :)

    Hiya

How odd, I just managed to get an invite last weekend and have been hooked since and now I see this thread :-)

I am loving it, as well as looking at the lovely shabby chic and pantry ideas - It means I can save things I see online

    am definately a convert lol

If anyone would like an invite do pm me if that would help, just because I requested one that still hasnt come through, and I hardly knew anyone on there so its taken me a while to get on there - if I can help anyone else speed the process up please dont hesitate :-) hope that sounds helpful not creeepy lol

  • Please can someone send me an invite? I LOVE the idea of this site, and as it is half term i'm sure I could find something for me and my girls to make and do. My 10 year old has tried to teach me how to knit today, but I just can't get the hang of it so want something for us to do together :)
