Has anyone else discovered 'pinterest'?

A friend told me about a website she frequents http://pinterest.com/

Its bit like an online notice board where people post their recent discoveries/likes etc. You can apply to join and filter out your interests. Alot of it is art, craft, upcycling, recipes etc. I have to say it's a bit addictive, but a lovely way to spend time relaxing in the evening. I've already used a few of the recipes - the quinoa burgers I made went down a treat, even my visiting veggie-hating brother ate them with relish!
No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!

Someone mentioned it to me on an American chat room last week, but I couldn't remember what they called it afterwards though so thank you for the reminder. Love the pantry on the home page so I searched for some more, I now have pantry envy lol :0)

I got an invite from a friend and joined but I couldn't figure out how to work it. So I lost interest in pinterest!
Mind you, I can't work out how to work either Twitter or my ipod - so it kind of figures! :o

I have heard of it, and that its a fantastic way of wasting time :D in a good way that is. I expect I shall cave in sooner or later. :D
  • I love it!!!!!

I mainly use it for decorating/DIY ideas, and also for my allotment/self sufficent ideas. I'm down as agreenmess if anyone would like to look. I do have over 5000 pinterests though, both in my boards and as likes (which is easier than pinning something)!

fabulous! I find that really inspiring (is that weird?)

if you haven't clicked on the link...and then clicked to the blog...it's about prepping veg and meat for the slow cooker and then freezing in bags for later date.

doing that would free up lots of time to waste on internet!!
