Addresses to send creditors letters to re: starting a DMP?

Hi,
Forgive me, but I am really panicing so much now
I have all my creditors letters - based on the CCCS template they provide - typed up. The one that says:
"Dear Sir/Madam,
I have received advice from the Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) to help solve my debt problem.
I am in financial difficulties and not able to meet my normal monthly payments.
CCCS is setting up a Debt Management Plan for me and they will send you an offer of payment along with a copy of my budget and list of creditors."
...but am having difficulty finding the postal addresses to use to send the letters to by Recorded Delivery
My latest MBNA and OPUS card statements have just come in the post and handily contain envelopes to send payment to in the post (that's standard, and I take no notice as they used to be paid via Direct Debit).
But the address on the OPUS statement and envelope differ:
Opus Customer Services
PO Box 136
Sheffield
S98 1HB
and
Opus Card Services
PO Box 142
Sheffield
S98 1HH
...on the envelope.
The MBNA enclosed envelope says:
Card Services
Thynne Street
Bolton
BL11 1AZ
but at the bottom of the statement it says:
MBNA Europe Bank Limited
Stansfield House
Chester Business Park
Chester
CH4 9QQ
(that is Head Office, do I send it there?)
The recent 'Northern Rock' "your bank says that they are unable to honour your direct debit" letter wanting overdue payment of £0.00 is letter headed:
NRAM Personal Loans
Selectapost 19
Rotherham
S97 3DG
Yet the postage paid envelope enclosed says:
NRAM Personal Loans
Special Accounts Department
Claypit Lane
LEEDS
LS2 8AE
The MINT and BARCLAYCARD statements are online only, so who do I sent those letters to?
The bank overdraft letter is easy, that's my local branch but I won't send that until I know my pay has gone to the NEW account.
A recent RBS Visa letter (saying they are upping the APR on my card) says:
Cards Customer Services
PO Box 5747
Southend-On-Sea
SS1 9AJ
So I will use that I guess.
Anyone know the MINT address to use and also a correct BARCLAYCARD one please?

Off the MINT website:
Customer Service Centre
PO BOX 5747
Southend-on-Sea
SS1 9AJ
....which is the same as the RBS Mastercard one! (I know MINT was to do with RBS but give me strength!)
but then it has several different postal payment addresses:
Classic
MINT MasterCard Classic
Milton Keynes MK77 1AS
MINT Visa Classic
Milton Keynes MK77 1QA
Gold
MINT MasterCard Gold
Milton Keynes MK77 1RP
MINT Visa Gold
Milton Keynes MK77 1AD
Platinum
MINT MasterCard Platinum
Milton Keynes MK77 1AZ
Barclaycard gives this as a Customer Service address:
Barclaycard
Customer Relations Department
PO BOX 9131
51 Saffron Way
Leicester
LE18 9DE
but then:
Please send payments to:
Barclaycard
Department PP
Bolton
BL11 1XX
I've made things difficult for myself by wanting to send the CCCS template letter, plus offer a token payment of £1 until the CCCS managed DMP plan is set up.
And after hearing about scared-sick's top efforts, also wanted to finish with "please do not telephone me at home or work to discuss this matter, as all correspondence is now being dealt with through CCCS" kind of thing.
I don't know what to do, and need to get these letters finished and ready to post for tomorrow for peace of mind. Although I have clearly lost mine going through this DMP process!
Does this ever get any easier people?

Oh katy721,
I am so running around like the proverbial headless chicken. Will I ever get a relaxing evening or at least an hour to unwind (temporarily?).
I have so many posts on the go and cross threads I'm seriously losing my sanity.
Now that someone has mentioned it (it another thread!), it would be very helpful if there WAS a list on the MSE website.
I am so not gonna get these letters typed up by midnight.....
Aaaargh .0 -
Hang on in there, it does get easier. I will have a quick look for you now so that you can get those letters sorted.LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Sorry must apologise, just after I last posted I realised the time and I had to go and collect DH from work. I haven't had a chance to look for the addresses for you. I hope you managed to find them and get your letters sorted.LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Morning,
If you are still hunting for the addresses try this link http://www.ico.gov.uk/ESDWebPages/search.asp
Sorry, I thought it was on MSE but I have searched so many websites recently, they all blend into one ! This should help, if all else fails I would try CCCS this morning or write to the addresses on the statements. Its what I did and got a response from every creditor, so I cant imagine you will have too much of a problem. I recently wrote to Barclaycard using the following adress Barclaycard House, PO Box 5592, Northampton, NN4 1ZY and got received an immediate response.
Good LuckLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Hope you found all your addresses. i promise you it does get easier!!! We've been with cccs since 2008 and the only time i hear from them is my statement which comes online and i have just had a reminder for my annual budget review. Apart from that we are left to get on with our lives. i still receive statements from my cc and loan accounts which means i can update cccs online and keep an eye on my.frozen interest rate. HTH.

I haven't actually sent any letters have just waited for them to phone and have told them the situation ref no etc. Most have been good suspend interest for 30 days till its set up etc. I have missed 2 payments on each. My first dmp payment went out yesterday. I don't know if not sending a letter is a good idea but Im a lazy cow and seem to be fine so far! Good luck to u.0

Hi, just a quickie as at work still!
Thanks for all the help, I just used the addresses from my earlier post except the Barclaycard one that was suggested.
Cheers
Will post more later tonight!
I bought 7x £1 Postal Orders at dinner, and they charge you 50p for each one
So the answer to the question: "how much does a £1 postal order cost?" is £1.50, daylight robbery
Not that anyone asked that question!
Bye :j.0 -
Evening, sorry for any typing mistakes I may make, I'm shattererd after another soul destroying dark day...
2 steps forward, 1 step back, but doing all this is really taking its toll on me..... cant sleep, no food to eat.
Get up, go to work, come home, go online, work all night doing creditirs letters, sorting out photocopies for CCCS and tyring to find out just who to make my last £1 postal order out to for the OPUS card debt.... Doesn't say on the back of the statement or online.
In fact, there 6 ways to pay "help page" states:
By post
Complete the payment slip and send with a cheque in the envelope provided to Opus Card Services, PO Box 142, Sheffield, S98 1HH.
Please ensure the cheque is made payable to the account holder, with the 16 digit card number included on the first line e.g. Mr J Smith 5474 1000 1234 5678. Please don’t send cash by post. You should allow 7 working days for your payment to reach us.
Well tats helpful isnt it. Does anyone know to to make it payable tplease or shall I jst write OPUS next to payee?
LIke I said earlier, I'm still disgusted I got charged 50p for eacg £1 postal order. Still, once I've got a payee name for OPUs, all my paperowrk is now done and dusted, inclusing the letters to creditors with £1 token payment enclosed and all the CCCS paperwork is signed and completed with all my copies of bank statements, prrof if income and credit cadr statements.
I'm shattered, and wondering if I wull ever get an hour to myself
Think i'm going to fall off this chair with weakness now.
Thanks everyone. I appreicate the continued support, sorry for being so off tonight.0
