Addresses to send creditors letters to re: starting a DMP?

I spoke to CCCS today and queried am I meant to make a 2nd round of £1 token payments to my creditors as they are starting to send out "your next payment is due by xxxx" emails, well Barclaycard anyway and RBS have slapped a £12 late payment on my account even though I sent them a £1 token postal order, which they have credited against my account
CCCS said not to worry as they will be all soon be getting a slice of my DMP monthly figure that is due to come out of my account on the 1st March (after the creditors are expecting payment off me). They won't get their slice until March 25th when CCCS give them all there share
I may owe £27k, but have never missed a payment in my life
I know my credit record is now shot to pieces by being on a DMP, but I am getting stressed now as I don't want "none payment received" showing up on my credit file
I am sorely tempted to send them another £1 token payment each.
Anyone else been in my situation please?
Thank you.
Can't breathe properly again, getting so stressed......
I also asked CCCS if I needed to send them copies of letters I had received from the creditors, as I have been scanning them in at work and emailing them to CCCS with my DMP ref. number, the girl seemed quite blase and said you can if you want, but you don't have to as long as you keep a copy for yourself. Very reassuring
Do my creditors also send the same letter they send me to CCCS then?
Getting very confused and not sure what to do
She also asked if there was any money in my RBS account, I said no, I'd transferred it all to my new account, just leaving the £198.99 overdraft amount owing.
She said good, we'll now write to them. But I still haven't written them my I am in deep doody, going on a DMP with CCCS and here's a £1 token payment towards the overdraft.....
I still can't get my head around this tiny overdraft being one of my debts, and CCCS will offer them like 74p a month until cleared
Need a lie down, no honestly
Bad evening, can't explain, bye.......0 -
Just a quick update from me, got home and had two letters awaiting me.
The first was a RBS Mastercard statement stating:
"Your account is in arrears. Please call 0870 xxx xxxx today to make a debit card payment of £79.55 or to discuss your financial situation and how we can assist".
I thought what arrears?, until I checked the statement:
Previous balance = £3,580.02
Payments to your account = £1.00 (the £1 token postal order payment)
Spending on you a/c plus any adjustments = £282.50
NEW BALANCE = £3,861.52
Pay overdue sum £79.55 now, remainder as below
It then breaks it down as showing a £100 payment I had to make for my rent on the card, plus a £100 cash withdrawal I needed to live on until I got paid, bad mistake I know. These were before I contacted CCCS. It then shows a £12 late payment fee, even though they credited my £1 token payment to my account BEFORE this late payment fee. Then two lots of interest, and now a £12 over limit fee.
You have failed to make a minimum payment.
Failing to make your minimum payment can mean that you have broken the terms of this credit agreement and could result in us taking legal action against you. It could lead to you having to pay additional costs and make it more difficult for you to obtain credit in the future
So now I am getting stung for late payments I made (albeit a £1 token payment), and an over limit fee of £12.
I am so annoyed by this I don't even feel like phoning them up, and just giving it to CCCS for their records, but its my fault I know.
Secondly, I have had my latest OPUS Card statement showing:
Previous balance = £1,675.49
Payments & credits = £1.00 CR (the £1 token postal order payment)
New transactions & charges = £0.00
Closing balance = £1,674,49
Next months estimated interest = £0.00 :j
Payment information
Minimum payment due (including missed payments) = £46.35
So, it shows the £1 token payment, and states charges = £0.00 and next months estimated interest = £0.00, but why does is state £46.35 for the minimum payment due?
Surely they have frozen the APR at 0%, but haven't had anything yet from CCCS, or have they? The interest shows 0%.
I just wish these creditors would write to me (as NRAM & MBNA have done) saying they have frozen the interest and accepted the monthly offer from CCCS, or are rejecting their offer.
I need to know one way or the other
I still have heard NOTHING from Barclaycard or the RBS owned MINT Visa card companies
What do I do?, scan in these 2 statements and email them to CCCS, or contact RBS directly and explain I am on a DMP and can't afford the monthly payments hence making the £1 token payment, and while you're there, please can you freeze the interest and stop the late payment and over limit charges?
They'll not listen to me.

It's such a frustrating time isn't it? Not knowing whats really going on and still getting letters demanding payment. I'm at the same point now, my DMP is in the hands of the CCCS and I've written to all of my creditors and told them what the score is. I've not heard from most of them so can only assume that no news is good news. Had to sort out a court summons with CCCS yesterday so I know that they are working through my paperwork (court summons no longer valid as a payment offer has been set up with creditor). Now the wait starts. If any of them get in touch I'll just bundle it all to the CCCS and tell them this is what I have received since whatever date, do I need to do anything more, and see what they say. I've had my panicky stage, I'm just trying to go with the flow for now...Debt free on 2nd January 2015Next savings goals:£5k emergency fund£4k holiday of a lifetime fund0

If you absolutely want to respond, then send a letter (as per the template letters in your CCCS pack) just telling them again that you're on a DMP with the CCCS and that if they have concerns or questions, they should contact them. Our LBM: Dec 2011. DMP started: Jan 2012. Debt at LBM: £41,568
Oct 2012 = Current debt: £40,548.93
Oct 2013 = Current debt: £39.054.70
DMP Support number 424 - Long haul number 3080 -
Sounds like it is all going to plan RG.
Some companies will freeze interest and unfortunately some will not, (or at least not at first request especially if there has been recent spending on the account).
Try not to worry about it as I am sure it will all work out. (says she who is also worried about the debt going UP rather than coming down due to fees, charges etc!! lol)
You must feel a little bit better now though eh? I mean from the panic you felt in the beginning when you were worried about meeting all the payments and still having enough to live on. This is still the better option I think.0
