So happy to meet you all and find that I AM NOT ALONE!!!!!

Have had a nosey at your photos. I own a few of the OPI colours that you have. How old is your oldest bottle? The first one I bought was Grand Canyon Sunset in about 2007 I think.
Wow Nascargal what an album! Seriously jealous of your OPI collection.

I really need to stop indulging myself. 2 new ones today, Revlon-Stormy and Outdoor Girl-Gold Shatter. :o

Hi, what is Stormy like? I think I've been looking at that as a dupe for $OPI Metro Chic.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

It's amazing and I love it! You only really need one coat which gives you a grey with purpley undertones in certain lights but I'm wearing two coats right now which makes it a slighty deeper grey. To me it looks rather more grown up than I'm used to and it's definitely got me lusting after more greys.

ETA: I googled the OPI and they are very similar. I got my Stormy in poundland, very glad I popped in there!

As stated earler in the thread I am a newbie to 'messin with nails'

Sadly I have broken them all recently (stacking a couple of tonnes of firewood will do that) so they are short at the mo and that was one of the reasons to look for something to perk them up a bit.

So be gentle.... my first few gos:

  • Love the last picture Tygermoth, did you do them yourself?!

Can I ask what polish you used in the 2nd picture? Seems like a fantastic glitter.

Just wondering what to do to mine tomorrow when I have some time. They've chipped this week ( unusual for me). Ah decisions decisions.

This thread is great for inspiration :-)

    Hi fashionlover10

The last was a tutorial off you tube - very easy! (I am not kidding)

The glitter nail was NYC from super drug at a whopping £1 (lights camera glitter 105)

    :D

  • Oh I'll have to watch that when I'm a little less tired, thank you!

I have a few points on my Superdrug card so I think I might have a little trip down there next week. I can't believe how solid the glitter seems for the price. I was expecting you to say it was alot more!

    Here's a question for you:

What colour would you have underneath a silver crackle?

I've got one here that I still haven't used as I can't decide what colour to use with it - I don't want to waste polish and time experimenting! :rotfl:

I put lilac underneath silver crackle. The lilac I use is Barry M Berry Ice Cream, LOVE that polish. :D
