I just can't justify it this month :( I have however just done my toenails for the first time with a crackle topcoat and I'm really impressed.

Off to turn the TV off......(I think?)

  • the friends of dorothy collection looks good for anyone who missed out on OPIs Rainbow Connection. I like the emerald green but already have RC and China Glaze Ruby Pumps so its a bit pointless getting the whole collection (the yellow is bleurgh)

Thats me; keep looking at Rainbow Connection on eBay and thinking i'm not prepared to pay the price it is going for.
    So hopefully this satisfy me.

I'm not sure about the Yellow either - i'm pale so might look really nasty??

I have a £10 credit on Q anyways so it was mine for under £20.00 delivered.

You could always try and eBay the yellow. Most collections have a duffer though - if you are happy paying 25/3 rather than 25/4 then it's still a good deal. I love rainbow connection - its my favourite polish ever and brightens up anything.

  • 12mls isn't that great - cg and opi are both 15ml for less money. Are these any better?

Not really - l like the shape and the brush but i don't think so they are as wonerful as people make out.

I normally buy for colour rather than anything else anyway as polish only ever lasts 24hrs on my nails anyway.

I have got about thirty LD polishes as i normally get the TSVs, but i wouldn't go mad for them at full price.

I have Supermodel and it really suits me, I am really keen to get the Lilac one, it is going on my wish list, also loved the Cool Water selection too.

I have lots of brands, I usually go for the colour rather than a particular make, but find that LD really is self levelling and gives a great finish on my ridged nails.

3 reallys in one post rather OTT, I blame being tired! Night night all.

It does look horrid, but you could use it for marbling or stamping. I have several bleurgh colours in my collection that I wouldn't dream of painting a whole nail with but they're great for marbling. I have a Nails Inc one that can only be described as kermit green, revolting on its own but perfect for marbling with a darker green.
