I've done gradients a few times. I find less is better, dab the sponge on some paper first so there's not too much on it and build it up gradually. If you add the top coat as soon as you've finished dabbing it helps to blend it.

I've seen tutorials where they put two colours on the sponge, but I've only ever done it with one. Which way did you do it?

I used two colours, but I just didn't get how much I was supposed to mix them etc etc. Think I will have to give it another go soon.

I have done black and white today :)

Not sure whether to play with my new GOSH mushroom browny nude colour ('With a Twist') or try to do a sponge gradient which I've been promising on my blog for a while... I want to play with my GOSH polish but I dunno!

Am with you on that one. Still need to get myself some better plates to try again.
  • Im jealous of anyone that can do stamping, i just dont have the skill. It looks amazing
  • aargh! Daughter has now bitten her nails which were a nice length and I was going to attempt to do her a manicure with striping tapes/graduated colour. Bloody GCSE results next week *she's stressing* means her manicure is delayed until they grow again.

I have given her the hand massage and nail massage, 2 coats of OPI strengthener and a clear topcoat, hope hers grow as quickly as mine do. :)

Oh well I suppose I had best do mine instead. *tuts* it's a hard life :p;)

I don't have any skill, and I have a dodgy right arm/hand combination so if I can stamp anyone can. It is all about rolling the stamper across your nail, get the same pressure across the whole nail by not going down like the post office used to stamp onto letters, but from left to right. Trust me it works.

As for me, I am slightly inebriated, and doing your nails in that state shouldn't be allowed, but I did it anyway!
