No polish from me lately, you should see the state of my nails, chipping, flaking. They are truly awful and the only thing I have done differently is use the peach pot remover from Home Bargains instead of the Sally Hansen bottled stuff....0

Evening,
Can anyone suggest some good thick polishes for stamping please. Not the Konad ones thoughI'm going shopping tomorrow and hopefully will manage to pick something up (cheap as possible though, I'll be with OH and he just doesn't understand lol):T
For black, I always use MUA , its only £1 from Superdrug. I am just practising at the moment though so I went for cheap and cheerful! This whole stamping thing takes a while to get the hang of. xx
P.S I have been lurking on this board for ageshehe

In the week I had to take off my cobalt nail varnish (for work
boring ol' meanies
) so while chatting to daughter I cheerfully moistened a cotton wool pad with remover and started wiping away. Nothing happened, so I wiped harder. Grabbed the bottle to put some more on the pad, as obviously there wasn't enough on to work.
Then I realised that I was trying to remove polish with facial toner
I really should look what I am doing. :rotfl:
On the upside, my cuticles are looking quite healthy0 -
These are an impulse purchase I got in Superdrug, Beauty UK 6x8ml bottles in a box for £4.99. I was after a "nude" colour (even though now it's been photoed it looks like tipp-ex :rotfl: )
I've gone from never wearing polish to mad purchases! Problem is I don't have 6 fingers either!

No blue this week as I was in Barcelona. But I have got my OPI Black Spotted.
It's ok but I'm going to play with it over different colours and use different thicknesses to get it right. I just popped it over my current Essie Penny Talks.

Evening Ladies.
My A Englands from last weeks sale turned up; and this is Perceval.
Quite inpressed the previous two i was really underwhelmed with - in fact Order of the Garter i really didn't like and found it horrid to apply and then it chipped super quick.
But Perceval is lush. Its not particularly exciting as not a holo like a few of the others but its the most gorgeous red, really shiny and almost blackedned around the eges without being dark. A really classic colour. Was also a dream to apply. Looking forward to trying the other few i boughtI'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler0 -
Lovely, amyb! I also got Perceval from the latest a england sale, as well as Avalon, Tristam, Lady of the Lake and Dragon. This is the Lady of the Lake, with flash - it's much more subdued in normal light, deep grape colour with subtle red glints. I'm wearing it for the purple week!Cogito, ergo sum.0
