    Hello ladies,

I'm out on the blue and the purple because I am a chief bridesmaid on saturday and I don't want my nails stained.

I'm in charge of the nails apparently. We're having french with a gold glitter. I'm planning on doing a ring finger manicure for the bride- it's truly the day to pull it off!

They're a bit too Morticia for me, those Louboutin nails.

Great blog though, thanks for the link. There goes another several hours of my life gawping at another person's nails.

Very quick play with the additives far too late last night.

And I can finally join in with one of the challanges! It deliberately out of focus so you can see the different sparkles, but these are my rainbow nails. Ok yes, so I cheated :p

    Evening,

Can anyone suggest some good thick polishes for stamping please. Not the Konad ones though :o I'm going shopping tomorrow and hopefully will manage to pick something up (cheap as possible though, I'll be with OH and he just doesn't understand lol)

I've had a little go this afternoon and the ones have have are too thin. I'm after a black and a white if possible. But and really light or dark colours would be nice too.

The link to the french nail blog is brilliant, thanks for posting it :T

Out of all my polishes, I find best results with rimmel, and the one coaters. Generally anything in glitter, or shimmery I struggle to get a deep/heavy stamp with. Konad is pretty good, but that's all I have have used to get shimmery stamps with. I find the small bottles last me ages though. Black no idea, but the whitener tip varnish from asda's own range is quite good. Not on par to the real Konad white special polish, but a reasonable alternative.

Thats really quite interesting! I'd give that a go but not with black. Are those false nails,or real?

They are very vampy but I rather like the idea. I've never tried coating the whole underside and am now tempted.

Yesterday I removed the blue and put on another poundland revlon called Aloof. It was a disaster! Several hours later and it was still like toffee so I had to take it all back off again. I've not had that with sechevite over the top of anything before. Not happy as I really liked the polish :(

Going back to the tip wrapping.
I wrap my tips with base coat and top coat but i don't with colour as i find it too messy. The base are top wrapping seams to stop shrinkage.
I also find it strengthens my nails as they are very weak.
I'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler
