Rhubrarb and custard nails. Tragically it started to chip straight away so it's coming straight off

Well have done the yellow and have to say its one of the worst colours I've ever tried to put on my nails. I used a Barry M and I'm not entirely sure it will see the light of day again. Oh and I've just noticed the thumb needs a bit of a clean up!!!

Anyway the results are on the flickr group:

It looks great. It reminds me of this chap > :j

Love the name and the colour combo - well done. Shame it's chipping already

    Nail varnish storage

Love this thread I'm 41 but this is the first time I have really been in to painting my nails.
I want to storage my trash a bit better and was thinking of these http://www.roobeauty.com/section.php/379/1/all-nail-polish-rolls

I know you all love the Ikea unit but I thought these might work rolled up in a pretty bag.

Not a fan of yellow for nails but love seeing the pictures.

I hope you don't mind me lurking on this thread, I love looking at your photos and your nail art.

I have always bitten my nails and have been 'clean' now for a few months but they are so strong I can barely even file them as I wreck nail files (so much for all those aunts who used to tell me my nails would be weak if I continued to bite them). They also grow so fast I get bored keep cutting them- but I am determined not to bite them again and they are currently quite long- longer than is fashionable I suppose so I will have to tackle them again.

My OH hates polish, but so that I don't get tempted to bite them again I thought I would get a proper manicure next week and maybe have a very pale almost clear colour put on, and work from there.

I love your photos though, the spotty nails a few pages back were great- maybe in a few years I will be there!

Back to lurking now, but do keep up the great photos!

You're welcome to lurk soolin, but beware, we'll draw you in eventually. Lurk for too long and you'll stop caring what your OH thinks!

Heads up ladies...look what I found in Poundland this morning!

    263df6a6.png

They are branded 'chit chat' and say limited edition, but here they are side by side with genuine Technic Carnival and Mermaid and I challenge you to spot the difference! (the 2 chit chat bottles are in the middle, genuine technic is on the outside)

    :)

There is a gold and a pink too although the pink is pretty rubbish.
They apply ok but stink to high heaven.
I used the dark blue in my red nail challege nails and did a review on the four i have on my blog.
