Maybe I should stop looking at this thread as I want to buy more nail polishes - and I've been banned from it by myself, my boyfriend AND my parents!

However something I do need is a decent place to store all my polishes, I've got about 60 and they're all different sizes, shapes and brands! I've looked online and it's going to be at least £20 which I will spend if I have to but I'd rather not; I'd like to make my own but all the youtube videos seem to be on foamy things that you hang on your wall and look like they'll fall down every five minutes :S How do you guys store your stuff?

This thread is an awful place for foiling all attempts to curb spending isn't it? I came here with probably no more than a dozen polishes and now have - oh god I don't want to count! Plus tools and stencils and........

I had all my stuff in shoe boxes and old delivery boxes but have discovered that the WHS A4 storage boxes are just about the right height for most polishes so have two boxes on a bookshelf now. They are a smidge to short for some bottles but I've spread the tall bottles around so the lid just sits slightly higher than it should balanced on all the bottles IYSWIM.

The plain ones are £3.99, a bit more for flowery ones and so on, but if you're artistic the plain ones could easily be improved on. I'm planning to buy another two for all the bits and bobs. It does depend on you having a bookshelf to put them on of course!

I use two tool boxes for my stuff. The small one for remover, cotton wool, tape etc. The larger for the polishes and using the top section for the tools and stickers and stuff, Got both from wilkinsons for about £10 for the two. (altho I think Im gonna need a bigger box if this habit carries on!!)

For storage I have a nearly full Helmer from IKEA, it is the perfect size for all of my polishes except two peripera ones I had from Korea, as the cat on top makes them really huge.

I would like two Helmers. So I can have a drawer for each colour group, but I think my husband would string me up.

I have mine in one of these

The top 3 drawers are full of polishes (it's the perfect height for them to stand up in), the 4th is full of 'bits' cotton wool, polish remover, nail file, etc. Then at the moment the bottom 2 are body creams and stuff. BUT... I also have a basket full of polishes that I need to find space for so it's time for me to rethink my polish storage again... :o
