    Polish !!!!!! alert!:p

After seeing the Kleancolor polishes on here I couldn't resist getting a few ( :o ) for myself!

    These arrived this morning...

They work out at £1.60ish each including P&P + customs charges so not bad at all, and they're gorgeous!

Apologies for all the pics, and the quality of the pics...:rotfl: I got a bit excited :p

That is quite possibly more polish than I have in the salon :rotfl:

have ordered some of those jewels as well as i used to wear a swarofski (sp) crystal on my teeth and really loved it ... no longer wear them on my teeth as it costs too much to get one put on ( wonder if i could use one of the ones i have ordered ? and how i would stick it on my tooth ? )

I remember the craze around 12 years ago for the little tooth gems - they were diamantes stuck on with nail glue  I'm, of course, not recommending that you try the nail glue, but you just reminded me of it :)

My little one was at her first school disco, she orginally asked for 'a french shellac with some purple rockstars' (she's five! :o:rotfl:) but then plumped for purple with polka dots

Loving the purple with polka dots
  • Can anyone help me with recommending a ridge filler? My Mum's nails are badly ridged and she'd love them to look nice. So far I have only found a Superdrug own one or one in Boots called 'Save the Nail' which I've never heard of before. Are either of those any good?

I've just put a few replies on your gel nails thread - I thought it better to put them there than have them get buried in here :D

I'm glad you like shellac - I love it and will never use 'normal' polish again :j

Most of the NP ranges do one, lots on *bay. Have in the past seen Revlon, NYC etc in Boots, Mavala in chemists and Dept Stores, the only ones I can personally recommend are NailTek and Barielle Camouflage (I stocked up with Barielle stuff when I found in in TKMax quite a while ago). I have badly ridged nails, age and health related, but mostly put on base coat (nail envy ) and a cream finish polish, I find Leighton Denny self level really well on me. Metallics and very shimmery ones show my ridges the worst.HTH :)

After ages I have updated my blog - yay!

    http://nailpron.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/so-many-polishes-so-little-time.html

It has details of all my new purchases, yay!

Also, is anyone else interested in having a nail art challenge with me? They do a 31 day one, but I don't know if that is a bit ambitious for a first time.

Nice haul! How much did that cost? Am hoping to go to the canary islands this year, never even occurred to me that I can get some cool polishes abroad!

I like the idea of nail art challenge but I really can't redo my nails everyday....... How about a weekly one and we choose the theme between us and post the results? Sounds like it could be fun!:j
