I paid £16.99 for the last set of bundle monster plates, I think there was 25 plates in that set. I kept 8 plates (the ones I liked the best) and sold the rest on ebay for more than I'd paid for the whole set :D

Will probably do the same thing with the new set.

I've been scouring blogs and websites to find a colour I'm desperate for. I can't find anything similar. I want a plummy/red wine creamy colour. Similar to this colour I suppose: http://www.boots.com/en/SensatioNail-Gel-Starter-Kit-Raspberry-Wine_1251554/
    Any ideas? :(

    Thanks!

Well, I have been gone for ages, and things have been so busy.

But, I have done my first set of gel nails on myself, and I have had them on since Thursday night with pretty much total success. They have chipped very slightly in one place, but this is because I have a new puppy and he LOVES biting.

Will get some pictures up when I can.

Pleased the gels have worked good for you and great news about getting puppy home:D. I have gel topcoat and a UV dryer, but don't think I could do my right hand good enough to try coloured gel, might have a try if I see a bargain somewhere.;)

Ok. So little ole me feeling a little bit smug at the mo. After many many failed attempts at the marbling after beginners luck I have managed to turn these out!!! (also the fact that a few vodkas were involved during the process makes me feel even more smug. lol). I know they aren't perfect but I'm happy with the result.

I bought some NYC polish today which is thinner and seems to spread a lot better in the water as appose to the Barry M I was trying it with.

These are topped off with a GOSH shiney top coat I bought for 99p.

Models Own are my favourite polishes. I try to buy them when Boots have got a 3 for 2 on, but I still shudder at the thought of how much I've probably spent in total on those I've got. I have a couple of the polishes that are in the Ice Cream Sundae collection (one of the collections you've linked to), and they make even the slightest tan on your hands look several shades deeper. Brilliant for summer.

The only thing that gets on my nerves about Models Own is how often the brushes part company from the lids (because they've stuck to the glass bottle instead), but if you just loosen the stuck bit away from the glass and screw the lid back on, then the brush will be stuck to the lid as it's supposed to be when you take the lid off again.
