I have one on the way as I entered their FB comp and was one of the 1st 200 to enter. Colour unknown at this point though

Me too, I was really surprised that I won something! :) Just hoping that it is a nice colour.

I think you will find the crystal file so much better, leaves a really smooth and tidy edge. Have you anything glittery you can try over the duck egg colour polish, might give it a bit of zing?:)

i love Bonanza what is the best colour to put Fantasy Fire over to get a really good colour?

I've swatched over so many and its great over all sorts of dark reddy/purply colours. Revlon Plum Night, Sally Hanson pat on the black and Sally Hanson Real Royal (all from the pound shop) and Collection 2000 Midnight Rouge are particularly good.
Its also fab over some blues but I don't really like it over greeny blues they need to be the other end of the blue scale (IYSWIM). Barry M Indigo or Collection 2000 blue my Mind are good. bizarrely I quite like it over the No 17 magnetised blue stuff too - for when I get bored with that, or the pattern is not good.

I've bought a spare bottle becuase its so small! But Sally Hanson Hidden treasure is my new love, and I found it really cheap:j

Hidden Treasure over black polish is a dupe for Kleancolor Chunky Holo in Black, also over a black polish. Sometimes I add Kleancolor Chunky Holo in Scarlet on top of the Chunky Holo Black and all the glitter turns bright red. Again, that combo on top of a gorgeous bright red polish looks amazing.

I have a couple of really good tips (no pun intended!) for home manis. If you want to do a French mani - or even just mask different areas off for multiple colours - use Scotch tape. Stick it onto your palm first to remove the excess sticky. The other tip is to use Seche Vite topcoat. If you haven't tried it yet, do, you won't go back to any other brand once you've used it!

HanSpan...where did you get Hidden Treasure from? I've got Nubar 2010 which is very similar but I'd like to get Hidden Treasure just to see how it compares.

Tiger_greeneyes...great tip re the scotch tape manis. I do this quite often, though I usually use masking tape as it rips easier. Comes in handy for stamping as well, you can just stamp part of the nail. I use ring reinforcers for french manis (if I want a curved rather than straight line).

Edit: Coincidentally, Nail Polish Wars has done a scotch tape mani today... http://www.nailpolishwars.com/ (gorgeous, will be copying that soon)

I got my Hidden Treasure from ebay and it's my weekend task to swatch it over a few different colours.

Can't remember who was asking after Fantasy Fire bases but I've just put up a load of swatches on my blog to give you an idea of what they look like over different colours. Nails Inc Jermyn street was a bit of a surprise find.

I've also ordered a full nails stamping plate (well I hope it's full nail size!) from ebay. I've already got the stamper and scraper so fancied having a go at a full nail design.
