Ah poo! Just snapped off my middle fingernail :(. Now have 2 short thumbnails and a stumpy middle one. I might trim the rest of my left hand as it looks odd

I have tecnic carnival on my nails, did about 20 layers so looks like the bottle! Not allowed to post a picture as I'm a newbie?! Lol. But will do as soon as I'm past that stage. I bough the mermaid one at the same time too but haven't tried it yet! The carnival one I've had on a week and it's still not chipped or peeled!!! I'm well impressed :)

Does anyone know a good plain white all over white nail polish? Barry M have some pastel colours I tried and they go on in one coat but not wanting to buy the white one because it's honestly like PVA glue, just peels of!? Wanting something that last's!

Anyone else sick of nail polish's not lasting? I have one by Rimmel, meant to be long lasting upto 5 day's, chips on the first day after a shower?! /rant over! lol :)
  • Just had an email from Avon. They have a new range of polishes which they are selling at the moment for £2.50 each instead of £6. The colours look lovely but I'm on a ban at the moment due to too many untrieds but if someone else wants to indulge for us as a tester please do feel free!! lol

I'm not surprised it's not chipped! 20 layers!! That'll never budge.

Just filed nails with an emery board and rough bits on the edges , I've ordered LD crystal file and can't wait for it to arrive ,no more raggy nail edges. I've done nails with M+S duck egg with base + top coat and it doesn't look very nice + bit chipped already. It's the only M+S polish I have , maybe it's just the colour , but don't think I'll buy again.

I think you will find the crystal file so much better, leaves a really smooth and tidy edge. Have you anything glittery you can try over the duck egg colour polish, might give it a bit of zing?:)
