Took my first look over there for weeks today.
Wow what a dramatic turnaround. They have all thrown in the towel.
It was so obvious prices would never drop.
Even the uber bears have smelt the coffee this time.

Don't you mean uber bears?
Anyway I wouldn't be bothered if it did close down. It would at least stop you HPC OCD's from writing the same boring articles all the time.
Actually that's not a bad name for you sibbers, pimperne1 and ghuolies. You can be the HPCOC gang.0 -
He's Mr and Mrs Ree as well.
I can relate to some of the people in that thread though, it was very frustrating watching my modest deposit being raped by inflation and low interest rates while rents spiralled and BTL speculators enjoyed every leg up imaginable.
I do credit myself for seeing which way the wind was blowing and 'capitulating' when the time was right though.
The people still around now are at the point where they have held on so long, paid so much in rent, and lost so much to inflation that they almost can't back down.0 -
Sibley keep posting your obsessive infatuation with HPC posts, but it must hurt you each month prices continue to fall.
Now internationally house prices are falling, UK, China, Australia Canada.:exclamatiScams - Shared Equity, Shared Ownership, Newbuy, Firstbuy and Help to Buy.

Interesting that the person starting that thread used the phrase 'moral chancers' to describe someone buying a house, in addition he appears to want the financial system to crash, strange people on there. So now I’ve completely had my fill of it, and yet we seem to be heading back to ‘situation normal’. The news has been decidedly lacking on reporting financial issues since Christmas'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0

House prices are tanking around here and showing no signs of stopping.
Hows the mrs0 -
All around I see SOLD signs ...... nothing new to the market, there is a massive fammine of properties for sale.
Plenty of buyers jumping in ... way too late.
Makes me laugh my head off, all that rent paid, all that deposit ravaged by inflation and, to top it all off - house prices rising ........... Ha Ha Ha!!!
Keep the rents rolling in, losers ............Bringing Happiness where there is Gloom!0 -
