Thanks cajef for the info. I am market 1. This exchange has BT Wholesale as the sole provider of broadband services.

Does this mean that I can't change from Orange broadband and go with Plusnet which is a cheaper?

Plusnet Value will be more expensive on a Market 1 exchange (£12.99, not £6.49) All this is explained on the Plusnet support pages.
