Thank all for the responses and help

ebay have pulled the listing - they have also removed the sales sold yesterday - What does this mean ?

Will the sellar have to pay any listing fees and what about the items sold yesterday - they no longer show on completed items ????

    weaver,

I've dealt with image thieves before. I always send them an invoice for photo usage fees and copyright infringement. They soon get the message and either cease and desist (some even pay up) or wait for a solictor's letter which they'll also have to pay for...

unfortunately, to sue for copyright infringement of photos, each picture must be registered with the apropriate people, and the copyright notice must be placed on the same sight as the picture. So threats of solicitors letter for ebay use wont get far.

The sellar has had to find a stock photo and write a description themselves

I actually put on my listing - the one with the photo on it - that seller *****
had used by photo without my permission, this was image theft. I had 4 bids and increased my price to over what they were selling at ( coinsidence I dont know )
After ebay pulled the listing I put another note saying - ebay had recognised the sellar as using photo with out my permission and it was against the rules and they had cancelled the listing in favour of my complaint.

Although they have relisted Im still selling the same item for £6 more than them - its really wierd - maybe cos mines an auction and thiers is BIN Ive no idea. cant imagine anyone would pay more just on a principle but Im pleased they are. But I dont buy items with stock photos on the listing - I like to see what Im getting.

Ill probably get in trouble for using thier user name in my listing - but I dont care as I think I have a justified point. And if I read that this sellar was lazy and took other peoples information I wouldnt bid on anything they listed.

I got my result - the listing pulled.

But Id love to know if they got fees refunded and what happened to the 4 sales they had already made (these disappeared off completed sales )- Please someone tell me - Im so curious

Im completely jinked - another sellar has now taken my photo - is it me?

Ive asked them to remove it - and they did right away.so no complaints.

Im no David Baliey, and they are nothing special, but are there that may people who take photos without asking ?

I cant believe how cheeky and lazy people are - its a moments job to take and add a photo.

Do I get a prize for how many times my image gets used - lol

they could use a stock photo for the item Im selling so thats really no excuse Im afraid

saying that if they feel a photo will increase sales then they should go and buy one, not pinch off other people

did you ask them where they got the picture...someone may have uploaded yours to a site somewhere else that they are getting them from.
