Seat Belt extension

Hi
if you a bit larger than normal can you buy a seat belt extension thing, like you get on a plane.

    Yes, got one at home for step-daughter. Don't know where it was bought though. But these are some here.

    The ones on plane seats are only designed to go around your stomach which is straight forward. Car seat belts are designed to go around you waist and over your shoulder. When using an extension you need to ensure that the belt still restains you properly if you lean forward suddenly.

    If a normal seatbelt doesn't fit, you're not "a bit larger than normal", you are morbidly obese.
