Sloppysaver, your comments re people wanting to pay their mortgages off -you have made a point that people perhaps should think about before they leave themselves with nothing in the bank, but it's not relevant to this thread.
Sorry, didn't realise you were the boss of this website. Won't do it again sir. oops, just did.0 -
You're just being provocative, Sloppy.
a) I didn't say you shouldn't post. In fact, I've just wandered over into the paying off your mortgage board and read your thread with interest.
b) Kindly call me Madam, not Sir0 -

you're right, I was being provocative and the first post I made on this thread was wrong, it is disturbing giving non-police the right to force entry into property. Please accept my apology everyone. Obviously I had a chemical imbalance that day, but I'm all better now.

I'm not in debt and never have been, but I've still signed the petition to protest the fact that our government is rapidly moving us towards a police state.0

No one.
Oooh Latin. It directly translates to "who will guard the guards themselves", but I think "who watches the watchers" fits equally well. It's the idea of who oversees the actions of those who appoint themselves the overseers and is an idea somewhat relevant these days as our Government slips further towards "velvet fascism"

Anyhow I've signed the petition. BumpI would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it.
