If the police can get it wrong and even get a court order with the wrong information, what makes you think that even a reputable (if there is such a thing) DCA can't. The difference is the police didn't take anything away, DCA's would.

ummmm, yes. I can honestly say that I have never had that happen to me, or indeed know anyone who that's happened to. I must walk around life with my head up my !!!!! to miss all these houses getting smashed up by confused police officers.

Just checked the BBC website and didn't find a single report of police officers terrifying children while smashing up houses. Nope, not one.

By the sarcasm in your post, you obviously missed the point

Obviously I don't live in the real world as I haven't reached "rock bottom".. remind me again where that is?

Is it not being able to pay a few bills and have the bailiffs come round and take your posessions away.
Is it being dependant on drugs and selling your body for money?
Is it living in Baghdad right now and being killed if you step out of your door
Is it living in Africa where your kids starve to death right on front of you?

Rock bottom is all relative and as you obviously have no empathy for those who have had difficulties and hit *their* rock bottom, may I please ask that you stop posting as sympathy and empathy is what this board is about.

If you don't agree then why don't you go to one of the other forums rather than being sarcastic to people who are trying to pay back their debts here.

Its the rock bottom of wasting my time on a worthless troll.

To everyone else mistakes do happen and can be very hard to put right. Even a slight mistake on a credit file can take months to sort out.
