  • just stick a basket on top of the hood of the pushchair :-)
fits perfectly and there is no risk to the child as the hood folded in to keep it in place keeps it there :-)

sadly dont see that your reasons are passable to not use a basket sorry, and probably the reason why many shops are now getting the baskets on wheels in :-)

  • Try that on my pushchair! It would never stay, and end up falling on the boy.

I was in Asda yesterday and put nappies under the pram and no one stopped me.

I've skipped through this so sorry if someones already mentioned it, but have you discussed with the manager how awkward it is for you to shop in their store, the supermarkets have isles dedicated to babies so must be a lucrative Market for them. Maybe if they made it easier to provide better facilities for parents of prewalking youngsters to shop they would attract more people and make more money.
  • Have they lockers? Ours has for those who want to go to the cafe.
Failing that- go to customer services and say you would llike to use a bag instead of a basket. They have another solution- perhaps minding the buggy while you use the baby seat trolleys?

They could just go the whole hog and have a nanny for each child, or a creche. People are too soft these days.
When your life is a mess, stop and think what you are doing before bringing more kids into it, it's not fair on them.
