    INTJ, like Isaac Newton :)
Faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

    I came out ISTJ,

No time to do the test at the moment, but wouldn't it be ironic if there was an ISTL categoty and I came out with that ;)

    Blue.

How do you get to the bit where you know your colours? I've clinked on lots of links and not getting there. Feeling a bit thick at the moment because clearly others have:o.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I'm not sure it was on the links. I've just done this and it's many variations quite a few times at work and know I'm "blue" in the main.

Actually, yes if you follow the links to the descriptors by DKeirsey you'll see they are grouped into the 4 "types" and colour coded accordingly.

Thanks. I clicked on and did that and came out as green, the same as ENFP and ENFJ, which both of my tests this time round came out as. Thinking about it, last time I came out as blue, which my previous ENTP was.

    INFJ for me.

"As an INFJ, your primary mode of living is focused internally, where you take things in primarily via intuition. Your secondary mode is external, where you deal with things according to how you feel about them, or how they fit with your personal value system.

INFJs are gentle, caring, complex and highly intuitive individuals. Artistic and creative, they live in a world of hidden meanings and possibilities. Only one percent of the population has an INFJ Personality Type, making it the most rare of all the types. "

I thought this was bang on: :rotfl:

"Because the INFJ has such strong intuitive capabilities, they trust their own instincts above all else. This may result in an INFJ stubborness and tendency to ignore other people's opinions. They believe that they're right. On the other hand, INFJ is a perfectionist who doubts that they are living up to their full potential. INFJs are rarely at complete peace with themselves - there's always something else they should be doing to improve themselves and the world around them."

........that's the same as mine but I can't recall seeing that bit.

Sometimes with this stuff bits can crossover different personalities.

I think LIR said it...if I had done this 15 years ago the answers would be slightly different.

The bit in red could apply to many different types........it's the bit I would like to get rid of in my own personality...am working on it :o

INTJ as well. this board is clearly a magnet for INTJs given that it says they are only 1-2% of the population.

the description seems to fit, but i'm largely of the view that these things are based on the same nonsense as horoscopes - write something that is pretty wishy washy and general then people will selectively fixate on the parts of it which do actually match their personality and ignore the fact that 75% of the profile bears no resemblence to them.

That's the most startling confusion, isn't it? Really very surprising.
